I would try to use Solar Guards. Or maybe... 2+1 |

" 5x Golems, 4x Solar Guards, 1x Animage Guardian and maybe 6x zombies could be very good combo with taunt abyssal jewel ;) " Hey :) Sorry, missed your message when I anwered earlier! Build has nice defense and is very good at clearing lots of monsters fast. It's not tankest or deadliest build, but has great balance and has survived last 5-6 leagues without major nerfs. You also have lot of room for customization, so once you do the default guide up to lvl 80+ you can start tuning it to your liking ;) [3.12] Flame Golem 101 - Complete Guide To Golemancy, All Bosses Down, Necro, Elementalist

" Hey :) Elementalist PoB should also have Stone and Chaos Golems. They increase Flame Golems damage while also adding very strong defense to the build. After those extra Golems, there is little point to add more Golems, so ?x Flame Golem, 1x Stone Golems, 1x Chaos Golems is optimal in my opinion depending on the gear you run. " Hi :) Flame Golems : + Excellent clear speed as they are projectile based and projectiles have AOE + Can do elemental reflect maps + Easy to mix with skills, Spectres and synergies - Medium boss damage Ice Golems + Great clear speed as they use movement skill as their main attack + Good boss damage - Can't do phys reflect maps - Can't kill enemies behid obstacles Stone Golems + Strongest boss damage of all Golems + Can maybe do phys reflect map? (They have massive HP pool) - Very slow clear speed (Especially multistrike locks the slam animation) - Can't kill enemies behid obstacles Going Necro or Elementalist depends on what you want to archieve. If you want absolute fastest boss kills, Going Elementist with Stone Golems could be best but you would have abyssmal clear-speed. If you want very fast clear speed, going pure Flame Golems seems easiest but you would have medium boss damage. Do you want to rely purely on Golems or do you want to mix minions strengths and weaknesses? Ice / Stone Golems are excellent at killing tough enemies but mixing them with some other projectile based Spectres could really make clearing faster. I use Flame Golems as they have aggressive AI and are projectile based, so they will be fastest at clearing imho. I also use Tukohamas as they synergy nicely with Flame Golems and can easily kill bosses & proximity shielded enemies. Best part about Golems is finding your own perfect mix of minions and synergies. The more time and thought you put into making it, the more balanced it will be and more nerfs it will survive in the future as it's not relying one one broken mechanic but rather lots of small things. You can also easily swap between Necro / elementist and even Golem types. I recommend going with defaut Necro setup and over lvl 80+ when you are familiar with all mechanics and have enough currency to start mixing stuff and swapping to Elementalist. Have fun testing stuff out and I hope you fing your own perfect mix ;) [3.12] Flame Golem 101 - Complete Guide To Golemancy, All Bosses Down, Necro, Elementalist https://tinyurl.com/y8k9fa2f แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย mika2salo#7776 เมื่อ 21 มี.ค. 2020 15:45:38

" If you would pick the best ascendancy and golem. Which one would it be? |

with Necro, Maxed out PoB DPS on golems AND spectres looks a little weak even on non-shaper enemies... Is there something I’m missing?
Also, are there any other elementalist variants? I much prefer going ele over necro because of QoL stuff and the fact that my Golems will be tanky AF. Ty! Love how dedicated you are to the build btw edit: I really wanna be able to push Flame Golems to their maximum potential; would gemswapping for a hard fight be a viable play? example, Slower Proj for GMP, or something along those lines? Another thing, the reason I wanna do elementalist so much is because the golems are reflect immune, and I love being able to run maps blindly. Thanks again yea, what about it แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Voidurai#1307 เมื่อ 22 มี.ค. 2020 11:53:43

" Hey :) I have done mapping in standard and have not noticed any difference in Golem behavior. Maybe use Feeding Frenzy instead of Combustion for a while and see if it changes anything? " Hello :) If you are still leveling and want to reach high levels I would go for Necro using Flame Golem + Tukohamas. I have most hours with this setup and it has never failed me. Great balance between damage and defense while being easy to play. If you are already at level you feel comfortable to stay for a while, I would go Elementalist with ? x Flame Golems + 1x Stone and 1x Chaos. This setup clears fastest and you don't really need to press flasks. You can die bit more often but all content should be doable. I run Flame Golem build for 2+ years, so my opinion might however be bit biased ;) " Hi :) With Necro Flame Golems are used mostly to clear trash mobs fast. Tukohamas are main boss damage dealers. You have to remember that with multiple totems, each TV creates 2x Totem, so double each TVs DPS. With Elementalist the damage comes from shotgunning enemies with Flame Golems orbs. Enemy can take damage multiple times from single cast if the damage comes from different explosion. Elementalist adds as much AOE to Golems explosions as possible without sacrificing other stats. Each cast with Flame Golem repeast 4x times, so one cast is 4(repeats) x 5 (Orbs per cast with GMP) which each can potentitally deal individual damage. With Flame Golems + Stone + Chaos you can spam 120+ Projectiles per second, so the damage is multiplied from one Orbs damage multiple times ;) Thx for support! It's really fun to run the guide as I love the Flame Golems as main skill and the thread posters / Flame Golem guild mates are very nice people. Guide has got abuout 50% of the content from readers so far and they have corrected about 200-500+ grammatical errors so far, so the guide is more community project than just my own by now ^^ I would not swap gems for bosses as you could potentially lose shotgunning. You can try tweaking with Elementalists gems / skills or changing Spectres with Necro. I have been testing Goatman fire-raisers few days and getting very good results. After playing a decent amount this league I believe there were two major nerfs to the build. I know we discussed them prior to the league, but playing with them live makes me think they are bigger than what I thought they would be.
Don't get me wrong, build still strong as heck, but here are my thoughts on the two big nerfs. Bone Barrier We all have different play styles, so this might not even be an issue for some, but for me it's very big. Yes, losing the 30 all res is pretty big, and I do feel it in making it harder for me to gear, but that's not my main issue with not taking this. Losing the Bone Armour skill has been very noticeable for me. Yes, the skill is still there and I could pick Bone Barrier still, but with the 30 all res gone, I can't justify it since the node has been gimped so hard. I am currently trying to find a way to fit steelskin in. I would have to drop my vaal skeletons though, so I'm waiting for better gear to try and unset ring it in. I know I said I can not justify taking the node now, but I do sometimes think of switching. Having an extra 2K+ EHP for 50%ish of the map is huge, not to mention it takes away the need for a bleed flask. I know, have your cake and eat it too is my mentality right now, and I'll agree with that, but just wanted to point out I didn't think it would be such a nerf when I first read about it. Raise Spectre Before I state my opinion, my specs have a lot of space for improvement still, so maybe my opinion will change as league goes on. That said, I'm not going to say bossing is the hardest thing in the world now, because it's not, but after playing this build for years, I can notice just how much longer it takes to kill high level bosses. Still missing 21 gem, and my boots with +1, as well a few other things I could do to improve, but it is noticeable. I think this was a little heavy handed of GGG. Specs were not the problem the last few leagues, it was zombies and skeletons. I don't think specs have really been a problem since they got ride of the old necro node Soul Weaver to honest. TL;DR Build still really great. Bossing is a bit harder. Defense is a bit worse. |
