Will a Ewar's Mirage in the off hand work. It won't need a chain in the off hand to fire an additional projectile.

Yes you would need Avatar of Fire if you haven't got Xoph's Blood

The skill works like this:

Cast when damage taken - When you take damage this will proc a skill attached to it
Blade Vortex - This skill will proc when you take damage
Curse on Hit/Enfeeble - When Blade Vortex hits an enemy this will proc Enfeeble.

Yes it can be used however it will be significantly less damage and also 1 projectile less

In my main bossing setup I'm currently using Loreweave however Belly of the Beast is still fine and will still clear all content.
