can i use a bow like this one for your build too?



i think the windripper might be a bit stronger - path of building tells me a slight difference in dmg.

Looks like the big thing is that you dont have a Chin Sol, or a second quiver for weapon swapping to the Chin Sol. You have 2.4m dps if you swap to Chin Sol.

Also noticed your hit chance is like 89%. Try to get that to 90+. The higher, the better. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any accuracy on your gear. Focus on getting Chin Sol, and some accuracy. Lastly, none of your gems are quality except barrage.

Thanks for linking your 90pob, too. I was wondering which points you did last, and looking at that, it makes sense. I dropped the points after Heart of the Oak up to Aspect of the Eagle near the starting area so that I can finish off life nodes in duelist and Revenge of the Hunted. My last question, if you don't mind: after 90, pick up the last abysal jewel slot or work toward Aspect of the Eagle first?

Please keep in mind that there is no "the correct passive order".
I think I picked up the last jewel node in level 91 by respecing 1 5% life node, 1 proj node in ranger start. You can see my passives in 90-97 in budget progress section.

After 91, spend your 1, 2 points into 5% life if you need more life, or into proj damage nod if you need dps. Once you get leveled enough, respec those minor node into Aspect or Eagle or focus in life or dps up to your favor.

Thanks for the advice. Really loving the build. Think I might upgrade jewels to 40+ life each to reach 6k, then give Uber Elder a try. Have ran Uber Atziri and Shaper deathless multiple times (although that 1% reflect on Uber Atziri can be a bitch with 4.1m Shaper DPS :P).

Though, I am debating going with a Pathfinder variation. I'm a big fan of having flasks up much more often and not being "dry" on maps with no quicksilver charges and nothing to regen them around me at times. It's also easier to cap resists. I figure I could 5L Poacher's Mark for frenzy in the chestpiece then have my +1 Chin Sol with barrage rather than having Tornado shot in both weapons then just swap/barrage on bosses.

I realize I lose the frenzy benefits on bosses, but I still think overall the benefit is greater with flask uptime. Is there any other reason Raider is superior? Anything I'm missing?

If you are fan of flasks, pathfinder can be a nice variant. I agree that sometimes I had situation with no flask charges in bad layout map of reduced flask charge mods.

Here are passives that I came up quickly :
my current pob(raider) - https://pastebin.com/xuZpEs0D : 4.01m shaper dps 6560 life.
possible pathfinder variant - https://pastebin.com/z57vm9Uu : 3.05m shaper dps (without frenzy charge) or 3.61m shaper dps (with frenzy charge).
Other stats - MS changes from 164 > 163, dodge with vaal grace changes from 75/74 > 74/64

If you are focusing more on mapping, pathfinder will provide better quality of life. Seems like we lose dps but 3m dps is enough up to Uber Elder(I had 2.7m when I first killed him). I optimized this build for both mapping and bossing. That's why I choose raider

In terms of dps it can be similar but in practice higher aps of Windripper is better imo. That's because Mirage Archer still clear monster packs with lower average damage, but it will shoot alot faster, providing better and more comfortable mapping.

Hey, glad you like the build :)

I looked at your pob. With frenzy charge, bossing distance(10 or less), intimidated, and shaper setup, it's 1.58m. If you buy 5L Chin Sol with 1.43 max aps for boss fight(for example, against shaper, or his guardian), you can check close range in configuration and you are at 2.31m shaper dps.

I had around 1.9m shaper dps when I was at level 93. I think you are in nice progress. I cleared most contents(Shaper, Vaal temple, uber Atziri) except uber elder by that level.

For upgrading your gear, I'd try go uber(eternal) lab and get the lightning damage or damage penetration enchant on boots. It will bosst your bossing dps from 2.3m to 2.5m. It is cheap and easy but took some time if layout is bad. So better to go in a day layout is easy to save time.

Next I think is getting amulet with life + elemental damage + crit multiplier or getting + accuracy in your ring or abyss jewel.

If you want, feel free to view my character. I went Deadeye instead, but it's the same concept and I have 4.1m Shaper DPS w/o Vaal Haste, Blood rage, or frenzy charges.

oh! I didnt know the barrage enchant would boost my dps by that much! I thought 87% accuracy wouldnt be much of a difference. guess ill try it out! and yeah I will work on the belt although I do feel lazy changing my belt before boss fights :c

Is there a reason as to why you changed to Deadeye instead? would you say its better than raider?
