[3.9] Frostblades Assassin SSF Viable. 1M+ DPS w/ Budget gear! League starter! Insane Clear Speed
I am running your build an it has been great man, thanks for that! but correct me if I am wrong, aren't your two jewel sockets only getting 30 dexterity each? Isn't Fight For survival not really working in your current skill tree?
Edit: nvm lol I didn't realize the points did not have to be allocated to get the bonus. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย rcarter20#7556 เมื่อ 12 มิ.ย. 2018 14:08:56

Hello. I am relatively new player here, so I am gonna ask some probably noob questions :)
I am currently trying your build and I am enjoying it so far. However, it is unclear to me if there is some "best in slot" item list? What uniques might be mandatory? What weapons are definitely the best for this build? I am also interested at what stage I should allocate points for Acrobatics and Vaal Pact. Currently I am in Act 7, and since I do not have much armour or life regen anyways, I decided to allocate them right away instead of in the late game since there are almost no downsides yet. Is survivability of your build good in the late game? Nothing oneshots you? Evasion builds are pretty risky as far as I know. 30-50% (considering acrobatics as well) evasion but any hit can oneshot you? My experience with games such as diablo, sacred, grim dawn, titan quest, etc. tells me that everything in late games oneshots witout armor. What is the main means of your survival? Immortal call triggers and a lot of life leech? By the way, why noone improves acrobatics further — the value is too low to spend skill points? Is there a final variant of the skill tree? And lastly, just to confirm, should I always prioritize resistances over damage and cap the former? Dead dps = zero dps, right?=) The trash is obviously easy to clear if I play safe and don't just dive in, but the bosses are real trouble (the gem build is not finished though, maybe that's the reason:)). I still rely on flasks and kiting while leeching Thank you in advance for your replies. |

" Okay so I'll do my answer in pairs. For BiS items its a little harder to say, I really want to try and see if I can make changes that may be better in incursion, but I haven't been playing enough to gather them. For the time being I think the touch of anguishes and belly of the beast are still BiS. I will be sure to post a update if I find something more useful. Vaal pact is whenever your near that side of the tree. So yea around act 7/8. Grab the life leech nodes as a temporary fix until you get soul raker. Acrobatics is the same. We use evasion so it really comes with zero downsides. Survivability is a issue sometimes. I would never promise anyone that this build is a brainless build. You have to pay attention or you will get murked. Our biggest defenses against getting one hit is being smart about your placements, using whirling blades to get away from a boss/dangerous rare, stibnite flask if you are super worried, and just out DPSing/Leeching. I wish I could say that this build is basically guaranteed deathless if you use these thing I just mentioned, but that's just not the case. No matter how smart you play you will still die. Obviously its not super common, but it will happen. Its just a side affect of going for a good clear speed build that uses no currency. The final variant of the skill tree is the one in the path of building. You won't get higher than 92-94 with this build. Its just not safe enough to get past those massive XP hurdles. Hope this helps you. Obviously it may make the build seem weak, but I won't lie about it. It still does it exactly what I claim. |

Thanks for the responses.
The gameplay is really interesting regarding survivability as I indeed have to play around and dodge incoming strong boss stuff instead of just being static and pressing frost blades. Currently attempting Cruel Izaro, and damn I keep failing on the last fight due to limited space because of traps. He really punishes evasion builds because you cannot rely on character's evasion and has to dodge his stuff with movement. Otherwise, he oneshots. Although he is slow, the goddess is what keeps the fight stressful. In the end I decided to level up a bit more and find some gear with necessary slots since I still have approximately only half of your recommended gems. Although the build does not feel very reliable, I still enjoy it pretty much. Reliable meta builds are boring :) |

can i play this build in HC ?

Great build, having a blast. I'm struggling with gloves. This glove has 49% increased damage with hits against chilled enemies. This build chills enemies so wouldn't it be BIS?
I also see these in alot of frost blade builds. Any advice? Thanks |

" I would also like to know if I can play this in Hardcore. |

" Those first gloves may be absoulutely bonkers for our build. Is that a new incursion mod? Haven't seen it before. Definitely give them a try and I'll try and look at path of building for a more in-depth peak at them. Shapers touch is a item that maybe good for our build, I never really looked into them. I've been really busy lately so I had zero time to play Poe, so no time to experiment. :( " Nope definitely not hardcore viable. Frostblades is a little too rippy for me to recommend to anybody trying hardcore. |
