Thinking of Unending Hunger jewel as my next purchase - is it a noticeable DPS upgrade (other than BIG spectres)? I'm using 5 x Slave Drivers at the moment.

Unending Hunger increases mapping and delving DPS. It increases cast speed for every monster that is killed. It helps a lot for Redemption Sentry because of the low base attack speed. For slave driver, maybe you don't really notice.

It's totally useless for bossing.

Hey Kay & community have you guys tested out whether this jewel would be better to use instead of Unending Hunger? It's a whopping 40% more minion damage. I just found it today and was wondering.

Fortess Covenant is good for bossing because it is a straight damage increase, but be careful about the last line. It will convert other notables to 'minion take more damage'.

In 3.10 it was a popular jewel to put in medium cluster socket because it doesn't affect cluster notables.

In the build section strom brand is mentioned, but in the spectre section for Redemption Sentries, arc is mentioned.
I understand that both are viable to procc EE, but which one suits better?

Arc is better for mapping (it will instantly chain and proc EE) and brand is better for bossing (you can cast it on ground and run away to safety!).

1. I bought the base with +2 and t3 minion dmg for 22 exa.
2. Slammed with Redeemer orb (without blocking anything because im stupid (you should block caster mods here)
3. craft cannot roll caster mods
4. remove /add infleunce until i hit t1 hatred
5. augment speed
6. remove/add speed for minion attack speed
7. craft trigger

I got SUPER lucky and only needed 2 speed augments

We discussed if it would be better to first "reroll item keeping prefixes" to hit minion attack speed and craft the influence mod later but i decided against it an went with the more expensive but safe way.

a question arose about how the specters kill bosses in building S&S, if they don't hurt Ignite? For example, if I use RK, do they correct the damage caused by the cold? how do they kill bosses in exchange for weapons if I don't change the helmet?
