The mod on your belt is useless as far as attacks deal elemental damage change it to a useful mod..shock on your ring would be a great boost for Bosses only deal's n extra 20% damage
Thanks! I upgraded my belt and will craft a new shock ring tonight. I just happened to get a 21/23 added cold damage gem to drop, and I replaced hypothermia support, and that made quite a difference.
This build is so fun. I'm crushing all maps with ease until... I get face raped by the boss on most t16 maps. Can anyone suggest gear upgrades that could help my situation? Thanks!
See when full buffed if you surpassed 7.5 aps threshold, I did some test, and damage does drop if you surpass 7.5, since devotos + 14% cospri, does usually surpass the threshold.
You might also wanna blessed orb your mark of the shaper opal ring, get as close as 25%
any damage mod that has "with attack skills" are absolutely useless for us :D
I have reached uber elder for the first time, i can do every map, shaper and elder, but im having a hard time with uber elder. My damage seems to be just fine, but i find survivability rather lacking. Guardians are also a breeze.
Just wondering if anyone have any good tips for the fight? My current gear looks like this.

I would definitely recommend Glorious Vanity Doryani jewel and use the keystone "Corrupted Soul" I go from about 6.1k eHP to almost 8.5k eHP. It helps alot especially with with +XX Shield gained while affected by Discipline.
You should also go for 21 / 21/23 gems.

He briefly mentions at 5:24 that "All other sources of non-hit shock are 20% that does scale with shock effect," and this covers things like this. But maybe it's worth calling out specifically as another way to shock.
So, it's not the "chance" that matters, as the shock is guaranteed. Furthermore, the damage is a flat 20% damage increase that you can scale further with other sources of shock damage/effect manipulation. I agree that this is confusing. For the builds that use the "shock" ring, you'll most likely just have the flat 20% increase.
In the end, you cannot currently use the option in PoB for this version of shock, as it is a 20% increase, and not a 50% increase as you can achieve with lightning damage (aside of the fact that you cannot maintain focus with 100% uptime).

It's just an extra button that you click, with no cost. You can use it whenever you want. I don't really get the question. Sure - you don't have to use all your skills on trash, but there is no harm in using focus so you might as well. You never run it 100% because the cooldown period of the skill (before you can use it again) is longer than the uptime period.
