The "hits cant be evaded" is why we use the shield. You need to be able to hit consistently to proc CoC and otherwise we'd need to invest in a ton of accuracy.

Is there a critical chance cap? Is it bad if I have the increased crit chance during flask effect on my flask?

The crit chance cap is 95%. It's not necessarily bad to have the increased crit chance mod on your diamond flask.

The diamond flask doesn't increase the crit cap - what it does is give you two rolls of crit and it chooses the highest. So it never quite guarantees a crit, but it gets you very close and effectively above the 95% crit cap (because the chances of rolling no crit twice is very small).

The best bang for buck for a diamond flask is probably a crit chance around 75% or so, but I haven't math'd it out.

I personally felt a lot squishier without phase acro on this build when I tried it out yesterday.

I may try out the es on hit discipline version but I like to run blood rage and that seems like a poor pairing

You could use a good rare with some resists and life, but see, Pandemonius is one of the biggest damage-wise unique of this build, it is pretty amazing - offensive and defensive.

Check my character - it is before the big life wheel near scion or next to melding wheel, you don't have to allocate the 40 intelligence in order to the jewel work.
