On the new tree GGG put "no witnesses" there but default POB is broken atm, and you need community fork to see 3.11 patch.

Is soul of steel still worth anointing after the nerf? (The lvl 90 pob has corruption, the lvl 100 expensive one has soul of steel.)

I'd say yes. Corruption is just too good to take something else early, but we gained so much damage late game that I think the extra tankyness layer will be more useful.

With elusive on the tree, freedom of movement went from really good to barely useful tho...

As you pointed out, I have played this build before, but couldn't quite find a build that didn't drop off at High red maps. map clear superfast? yes. 1 shot to snake chaos spit? definitely. Sirus A4 just wouldn't die and would 1 shot me? Yep.

So I was really frustrated that after doing so well early, I just sort of hit a ceiling (partly inexperience as well).


Which is why, based on slowly trawling through both the guide and as many comments as I could, I have a much better understanding of this build, and even feel confident to switch around a couple minor things. I am really excited to play this next league (won't start with this as I really want to try out the Dom. Blow Guard., but def 2nd), and actually do the true end game stuff that I have been missing out now.

I tried this build in Delirium and I can confirm that it's great so I may try this again in Harvest.

Very fast mapping. Only weakness is slow bossing but that is to be expected.

Just wanted to ask how to deal with the Uber Elder fight though?

The fight was going fine but in the later stages the floor gets covered with degen I believe so ES gets immediately depleted due to EB + MOM and I could not use any skills. Should I just unspec MOM for the fight?

I didn't play this exact build, but something very close. Same idea with ED/Contagion & EB/MoM, and I never had troubles with uber elder.

Are you looking for and killing the eyes that spawn the elder degen? The shaper orbs can all be stacked towards the bottom of the arena and you just avoid it for the most part.

If the fight is taking you so long that it's filling with shaper and elder degen then you were probably lacking some critical DPS items. Boss damage is low, but not that low.

Ok thanks for confirming that UE is viable with EB/MoM.

Just need to learn the fight better to limit degen and yes I was using my own cast on damage setup instead of the wither totem setup from the guide which on hindsight was a big mistake XD
