" In terms of the normal gear progression you are pretty far, so there are not many easy upgrades. A few to start though: One would be to divine your Wise Oak to 8%. You can use a hillock T4 betrayal to upgrade your weapon to 30% qualit for more Ele dmg, and you can definately get better gloves. Get a good base, ilvl86 shaper influenced fingerless silk gloves for the spell dmg% implicit and get better rolls on them. Those would be the cheap short term fixes. Every other upgrade costs now. Here are a few things you could take a look at: 1. Bottled Faith (15ex) 2. +3 Shavronnes (35ex) or +4 shavronnes (50-60ex) 3. Double Stat Watchers Eye (25-45ex, depending on the mods) 4. Triple Crit Multi + ES jewels (15-20ex per piece) 5. Work on your stygian vise - Get rid of the crafted mod and crusader exalt slam it for a chance of incr.% ES or incr. % lightning damage 6. Work on your sceptre - detailed rundown on page 227f, when I described how I crafted my wand 7. Catalyst your amulet with tempered for additional 4% ES conversion 8. Storm Coil ring could be upgraded, small flat ES 9. Work on your shield - try to get a good secondary suffix next to ES on Block In terms of "what to focus first" I´d say the +4 shavronnes gives you flat out the best incr. dps, afterwards I´d get bottled faith and the crit multi jewels, as all of this can be done without changing the gear. Then I´d start working on it piece by piece. āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ Vennto#1610 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 18 āļŠ.āļ. 2021 17:39:34

" I skipped CI completely, it's pretty optional and mostly needed if you don't want to level with a 5L Shavs for a bit while you save up for a 6L one. That said I've wondered at times if a CI version of this build could be better in some ways, you lose a ton of DPS from Pain Attunement but you could probably get quite a bit better defenses/ES with a custom 6L chest. Though you'd also need to replace the amulet with one that gives a comparable ES boost which would be hard, I get about 14% of my total ES from Presence of Chayula and the stun immunity is really handy. But there may be a build out there which competes if you get the right gear, Chaos immunity is nice too depending on the enemies you play against the most. |

I really don't know what to do anymore with this build , it dies ALOT , and the dmg is pathetic .... i droped like 19ex and 700+C into it and nothing ....im only lvl 80 but i die on tier 12-13 maps alot ....
i also bought a watchers eye with critical strikes pen 10% lightning res while affected by zealotry + 60% increased lightning dmg while affected by wrath..... i mean , this gear should be more than enough to properly farm red maps .... but the lack of dmg for besses is driving me mad , i can clear the mobs on the map OK-ish i still die to 1 shots but the bosses are crushing me .... Must say , this has been the most painful build ( starting with maps) to level i have ever made For ex , I just did a t14 primordial pool map just now , with no special mods and i got completly destroyed by the mobs 2 times , and i couldn't kill the boss .... ( yes i know how to doge his 1 shots slams ) āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ Holy_Human#0048 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 19 āļŠ.āļ. 2021 02:23:22

" Well, you haven't leveled it, that's the problem. Why do you need to farm red tier maps with level 80? Stick to yellows and make exp, as mentioned several times this build has a lot of traveling to do. Therefore, with level 80 you eigher skipped the important part on the left side of the tree, or you left out tons of useful nodes on the way. Give it 12 more levels... Then most of your gems are not maxed out and your gear is not nearly as good as you think. Your wand could be improved with like a few chaos, it's bad. You don't have the 500 times mentioned boot enchant. You have no throw speed whatsoever on gloves or belt, your rings have no mods aside from flat ES and Resists. Haven't seen your flasks and jewels but based om what I see here I don't expect that you followed the guide on those too, as you are misding crucial parts that have been adressed multiple times. I don't see the 19ex at all.. You slapped on a 6link chest and some high ES defensive gear and think you can cruise through endgame underleveled. It doesn't work that way anymore, sorry. āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ Vennto#1610 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 19 āļŠ.āļ. 2021 02:37:41

@King_Haart
I plan to switch to low life, but atm I have only 5.5k ES, so I'm thinking that's too low. Thanks āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ scorburel#4260 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 19 āļŠ.āļ. 2021 03:23:21

Thanks to this build, after playing PoE on and off for the past 9 years, I was able to beat Sirius! Been doing t16 maps easily as well! I want to keep going and challenge Maven.
I have about 25 exalts or so, not sure where else I can improve my build. Any suggestions? |
|
" better if you can share your POB. you are lvl 80 and with these gears I think it is good for t12-t13 map, I have died alot with this build when i went to red map, the reason was the trap throwing time and spread of the traps. From my suggestion. 1. Increase your trap throwing speed to 60-75% (see misc tab in game) 2. Buy the divergence gem for cluster trap which will reduce spreading of the trap 3. You died alot because of this skill mechanic, your trap throwed but the enemy did not hit it, they come fast to you and ignore the trap. This build not like other active skill build With this build I have recommended upgrade your defensive layer to highest before invert in dps |

" Normally I have more patience to go into detail, but in this case I really must just stress the points already made by Vennto.. throw speed, boot enchant, horrible weapon, def% on amulet for 200es, rings missing both intel and es% + I'm guessing killing yourself on reflect maps with the curse setup because you didn't seem to read notes in the guide.. You're barely even a build at level 80. But jumping into t13+ at lvl 80 with half-baked *just ES* gear... no :) As said upper... you just can't do that anymore, POE is different. Monsters have their damages increased across the board and players have their *effectiveness* decreased across the board, which was the whole intention with 3.15. There are tons of improvements you could make, all listed in the guide and rinse-repeated on the last 30+ pages. There's also tons of feedback from happy players dealing with the league and beating down the end-game while rolling over T16s with ease, including my own character of the league. Look at what they're doing and copy, or read the notes in the guide. I've streamed lots of hours of gameplay this league, you don't see me dying randomly all the time? I've cleared the end-game and have 10 deaths this league, mostly from super overpowered expedition rares before they got nerfed 2 days ago. If you play properly and read the guide, you shouldn't be struggling... look at the feedback from last 50+ pages, all from this league :) Gl āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ oestergreen#1184 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 19 āļŠ.āļ. 2021 15:28:11

While I'm not an expert player with traps or in general, here's some advice on surviving:
- First: whenever playing with a build that does not deal damage, you cannot run into dangerous areas headfirst. If you use totems, you go totems first. If you use minions, you have your minions go first. With traps you need to go traps first. As soon as you see mobs - or even earlier - STOP running and start tossing stuff. You can off screen many enemies safely if you consistently do this. - If you are taking damage, run away! Mostly there's no reason to be tanking enemies. As soon as you get some distance, resume throwing traps. Throw traps even when they might not hit so well, because proccing pyromaniac is essential to survival. - If you are chased by several dangerous enemies, such as rares buffing each other with auras, run until you get them separated and kill them one by one. - Exploit chain reaction. Throw a big pile of traps from a safe distance, and if an enemy does not walk into it, throw a further bunch closer to them - those traps will set off also those you threw first. Here's a video I made of a t16 map I cleared on my very mediocre l80 guy with 5700 ES and low damage. Maybe the harvest and expedition fights illustrate a bit what I said above. Boss fight is sort of messy, I might have easily died - temporal chains on map made avoiding stuff harder than I thought. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv4I9jyahVU |

" Lol I told you guys, this build is trash asf. Needs like 40ex to be semi-viable. I tried it on my main acc and it was the most times I've died on red maps. |
