[3.13 UPDATED] gr0bbs | Poison Blade Vortex | Budget Viable | Endgame 50Mil+ DPS | Video Guide
" I wouldn't mind some input on this as well, I just started playing again this week after a year off so this technically my "league starter" right now I'm broke af. Just recently my dmg is getting to the point of being very bad, just using Blade Blast while trying to keep BV up? Not sure if that's what I should be doing. I have a few chaos I could use to buy the Axiom of Perpetuem I see mentioned but then I can't use whirling blades so not sure if I should spend what little chaos I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated, hoping to get to maps before the start of the new league with this build and see how it does! TY in advance |

Levelling is not difficult, don't make it complicated.
If you don't care about efficiency and/or you are inexperienced, you can use blade vortex as soon as its unlocked. I did this for league-start, whilst it great until I unlocked unleash support, i was still able to progress pretty smoothly. This will be better than some cooked setup that you can't follow. If you want a more efficient league start, the simplest options will be to path the same way that you normally would for BV, but use either storm blast mines + flat damage wands OR caustic arrow -> TR -> BV. For mine setup, look up tytykiller on youtube. For CA start, look at exul's poison BV guide here. |

Use heralds from Act 2 and added elemental damage gems to increase your BV damage early on. I usually run the new league's variant on BV each league and always run BV as soon as it's available from the quest. Stacking elemental damage is the most efficient way to go until you gear up and hit the nodes you need to path out of the elemental damage buffs.

Sorry if I missed this in your guide, but what nodes are you picking up with the Thread of Hope jewel?

Really nice build. Started yesterday to check if i am going for that one next league as starter and farmer. I am lvl 72 now and can run T16 Maps with more than 3mil sdps.
Downside is really the small hp pool. |

my guy your a genius this build absolutely shreds things i dash through a horde and everything dies the only problem i have is there is a lot of wasted skill points

" Swift Venoms, Heart of Oak and Revenge of the Hunted About leveling: for most of my chars, i'm using something like Ball Lightning, Frost Bomb, Storm Brand or some Traps + Heralds (Ice/Thunder) until ~Act 5. It's the fastest and easiest way, and you can still use the original skill tree without deviating much. Just go for non-poison-nodes first. Using that method for twinks with leveling gear, i need a bit less than 30 minutes per act. For league start, you'll need a few minutes more, but the basic idea is "hit and run". You can still level your BV + support (better: Vaal BV) in your second weapon-set to switch at around act 5. |

i might try this nex league but instead ill lvl with toxic rain or any spellslinger should work just fine i hope haha

Well, I got lucky with an exalt drop while still in acts and switched to poison when hit maps with a few of the things listed and holy shit is this build fun and just destroying every thing I touch. Might even start with this next league as well, depending on how far I can get before the league ends.

Is this a League Starter Build? How would this build do as 3.12 League Starter?
