It depends. Since everything got HP buffs and more elemental resistances magic and rare mobs are tankier than before. This means if you have to throw detonate more than once per pack you are being slowed down, meaning if you are doing low level maps GMP is better, however if you are doing T16-T19 it's probably better to go slower projectiles. I compensate by getting additional projectile on helm enchant to get the best of both worlds.

im probably going to try to go nearly full out damage and stuff, so i'll probably look to get an inpulsa's just for the corpse explosion. that'll also really help with clear making GMP unnecessary.

i played ball lightning miner this league in SSF for a bit on just a 5L tremor rod and playing with gmp felt good, but slower proj was just as fine.

slower proj doesn't have a problem clearing packs, but with its slower projectiles they won't span out to other packs. with gmp (or any other support) the balls travel much farther meaning you don't need to lay mines for every pack and that just feels fast.

it is much more convenient to not need to swap gems though

I will recommend going arc mines in your case because it is far superior in clear to ball lightning.

I imported POB and there is 13 free points and resists are crap 46,59,-27. This is correct POB?

You can ignore the resists, POB doesn't work correctly.

so am i correct in thinking that the reason why you use minefield over something like swift assembly is just because of the mine placement/detonation speed chain reaction timing? it just helps get a longer chain of detonations, correct?

i can't fucking wait for the next league. this final week of waiting is always agonizing for me.

i look forward to heavily min/maxing this build. in SSF i got it operational and it played great, super strong, but just didn't have the means to really top it out.

15% more damage is referring to counterweight nodes. Anyway I don't recommend using thread of hope anymore.

Minefield adds 2 extra mines placed which is a big boost with blastchain mine and high impact mine. I also prefer the consistency over swift assembly.
