What I meant earlier about the calculation applied to each monster is that when you are mapping, each cast of incinerate is hitting multiple monsters, so multiple chances to crit with a large number of mobs.

Now I'm not so sure if that's true. Some random post I found says cyclone rolls crit for each "attack" so either all of the mobs hit are critted or none are critted...

Anwyay, I was playing around with armour and evasion and found that my energy were going down and up too much during mapping (+/- 2000 kind).

I was too uncomfortable with how unstable my energy was, and tried to buff my defense further. The sweet spot with constant upkeep of flask seems to be around 50k+ armour and 9k Evasion. My Energy seems a lot more stable now (I'm bad at using flask so I haven't been using my life flask for who knows how long lol..)

Decided to skip nimbleness and cut the crit chance path to my thread of hope (which only now then I realize I can upgrade my thread of hope and recraft my amulet to have higher damage/life!). It's easy to forget about this "early" pick of thread of hope haha.

I'm confused, where is the Inquisitor PoB at? The link at the top under Newest PoB is a bad link and all of the other links I see are for Witch.

Am I missing something?

The original guide was for inquistor but with the witch rework a few leagues back, and subsequent inquisitor nerfs, witch is just superior in so many ways. Elementalist has great AOE and it's about 50% more damage, with similar survivability.

If you really want to play inquisitor it's the same tree, just change your starting path. The ascendency nodes are Sanctuary, Pious Path, Augury of Pentience then whatever (4th node gives very little).

I killed him first time deathless. Just now I killed him again with one death, don't stand in that expanding black bubble under him :P

This built makes sirus like easy mode haha.

new version, 3 permanent frenzies, disciple of slaughter, arcane surge instead of CE because of mana and aoe. swapped golem for vaal haste. unbuffed dps and peak dps are both improved. mana very reliable with AS, a bit risky with CE, have to level up to 98 to have righteous decree, or find a cheap circle of anguish with more reduced mana cost.
At the moment I'm out of new ideas, I will try to cap resists, and reduce mana costs to be able to use CE, and that's it, I have reached my limits:)

I am getting ready to move on to a new build soon and I was pricing my gear to how much it would sell for and I was shocked at how low the price was for an Empower 3. It is like only 40c. I swear I remember paying a lot more than that when I bought it.

Well, sure, most of the gear drops in price over time. The compensating factor is that gear for your new build is also cheaper than before.

I think I'll keep my incinerator around to spank bosses when I need to, even if I continue with my other character, which right now is a scorching ray totem hierophant. I can reuse the awakened elemental focus and coward legacy belt though, but playing this build kinda makes playing other builds feel fragile XD
