[Outdated] Lancing Steel Raider | SoftCore | Not league starter viable anymore

Hi guys, the first of all is my first time here in PoE, this game is crazy as fuck, im enjoing so much.

Now thx for the guide, is so good explain, but here is my ASK/QUESTION maybe is someting i am missing probably because im new, but when i compare my PoB (https://pastebin.com/xW3cwb3V), when some of your PoB in my same stage of the game "early mapping" T5 the DPS that u got is near for a million or 2, and my DPS is not near 200k... where it comes this big difference if we got the same passive skills, and the same weapons...

I would be very grateful if some can take 5 min looking my PoB and explain what im doing wrong...

You need to config your build

Go into Configuration tab

turn everything on that relates to you

Steel Shards Consumed = 4
Are you always moving = yes
do you use frenzy charges = yes and add number

fill out all of these and your dps will shoot up

Heya! That's very strange, you have a decent dps already. Can you explain to me tour play style and how you approach bosses? Do you use CoS frequently? Are you flasking? Do you use Sniper's mark?

To easily increase your damage, try dropping your Witchfire Brew(this flask actually lowers your damage because of the despair curse aura) and getting a Dying Sun. A Diamond Flask of the Order(with at least 76% increased crit chance during flask effect) might help as well.

If you anoint Marked for Death(Sepia, Indigo, Silver oils) in your amulet you'll have a dps increase against marked enemies. You can also anoint Assassination(Black, Opalescent. Golden oils) for a damage boost at all times. If Assassination is currently expensive for you, try getting either Throatseeker(Amber, Violet, Opalescent oils) or True Strike(Teal, Crimson, Black oils), both will also give you a nice damage boost.

Heya! Atziri doesn't have her passive damage reflect in The Feared, if you manage to get her done for the invitation, you'll be able to run that.

Heya! Take a look at the configuration I did with your character in PoB, those are the boxes that must be filled and and checked to see your damage.
Also, I reallocated some passives in your PoB and swapped some thing. Try getting the following upgrades:

-The moment you decide to respec some passive points to allocate the ones I changed in your character's tree, you'll have to get your resistances capped again, so that should be your priority;
-You need to finish both the 3rd lab(Merciless Labyrinth) and uber lab one(Eternal Labyrinth) ASAP! You're missing on a lot of damage and survivability because you didn't finish those yet;
-Swap your Eternal Life flask for one of Stauching(Bleeding immunity) and sawp your Sulphur flask for one of Heat(for Freeze immunity);
-Swap your Summon Lightning Golem gem for a Summon Ice Golem, lock your CWDT in level 16 and get your gole to level 17;
-Swap Slower Projectiles Support for Lifetap Support in order to not have mana issues;
-Get a Pride aura with at least 20% quality(the quality in this aura increases its range of debuff);
-Get a Blood Rage instead;
-You should be using Sniper's mark against tough enemies and Vulnerability curse only against packs of mobs(you may even place your vulnerability in the ice golem CDWT if ya with to not have to cast it yourself frequently;
-You're playing as Deadeye currently, do not get Frenzy charges nodes in the passive tree since you'll not be stacking frenzies without either a crafted body armour with frenzy charges on hit or a Anomalous Blood Rage;
Try getting crafted jewels with life gained on hit, increased maximum life and at least one increased damage or attack speed mod and swap your Poacher's aim unique jewel(you'll see that I reallocated the passive points and allocated a jewel socket);
-Swap your Mana flask for a Diamond flask of the order with at least 75% increased crit strike chance during flask effect;
-Get a Dying Sun Ruby flask and swap your quicksilver flask for that;

Following those recommendations your damage should skyrocket.

Edit²: Try to buy all the the gems with max quality and, if possible, max level, you'll have a great damage increase by upgrading your gems. Don't need to do that to immortal call, ice golem nor cast when damage taken.

i use CoS every 3 shots of Lancing Steel

i dont ever use the Brew, so that cant be the issue, unless it lowers jsut having it equipped

so i Mark, CoS, Steel x3, Repeat then mark as it runs out sometimes before it does. And use Crit Flask often.

will Try the Anointment, when i get Oils.

So Will Paradoxica help much? i think i got enough Ex for it now.

Heya! Atm a Dying sun would give you a higher increase in dps than a cheap mediocre paradoxica like the one I'm using.

Try getting the Dying Sun first and then go for the paradoxica.

K got Dying Sun, so what next best thing to get, and about Paradoxica, it says a 195+ damage one, that mean the modifier that says 108% on ur preview item? or the actual DPS.

One Bad thing now i got Dying Sun, second i shoot once, my entire game basically freezes FPs drops to 1 so thats fun, My pc sucks to say it a 3080

While saving up for the WE with impale hits last longer with pride, is it better to get the intimidate with hits with pride or % double damage with pride. POB seems to suggest double damage with pride is more dps but I saw you recommend the intimidate in a few posts and as the extra pride mod for the uber high end WE- not sure if that's cuz POB wasn't calculating intimidate properly. Thanks!
