" Depends on how you build hiero, but the only benefit that remains unique, after they took leech and taunt from chieftain, is the slow we inflict with covered in ash. A few things build different tho, we have easier access to defensive layers in scion's suppress wheel and block nodes, we take a little longer to get all totems but pick many QoL in the path, with placement and dmg. These are not unique features or advantages, just different progress. No big changes for this build this league, except for very welcome range buff (thanks mark) and arcane surge buff. I'll see if I can get a pob update when the new version goes live, but the current one should be fine.

Updated POB with two setups, wihtout suppression, for SSF and Trade. Should be easier to build before acquiring suppression gear. I've been using something similar in SC trade mercenaries, and got all voidstones, and am farming T16s with it, so it's still quite tanky.

What buffs should I aim to get in mercs?

" I'm using a Kineticist with Haste, Ele weakness and Inspiring cry. Two doedre rings to grant that her curse stacks with my 2. Kaom's belt for extra tankiness, and eternal struggle with exarch dominance for 15% culling. On ssf I'd still use kineticist, but if I couldn't get +curse items, I'd get one without ele weakness, only haste and cry, and anoint culling. There are other options, but kineticist got 2 buffs to make up for the extra 50% life on unique mobs added by mercs, and a curse without the need of curse-on-hit gloves (although these are still nice to have) |
