My main concern is how strong the reaper is. I pondered for a while, and it seems that reaper must be really strong to overpower the minion army with AG. The latter gives insane buffs.

Also, there are plenty of variations to run the reaper, knockback is just one of many. Others like Soulwrest (phantasms) or Null's Inclination (dex stacking) all seem good, but don't solve issues. I think GGG failed their idea of one strong minion, bc the reaper still gets buffs from consuming other minions. They should give it the buff for being the only minion atm.

AG/spectres/carrion buffs are just too strong to be ignored, so other minions seem to be more preferable to me.

So, starting with the reaper seems fine, but later I think I'll switch to other minions if won't be able to pull out decent damage with it.

At the start, I'll go with animate weapon and knockback variant since I'm fine with AW. If it underperforms in the midgame, I'll check other options.
