Path of Exile Hideout Competition
Schweeet hideout comp, count me in!
Fane of Cimmerii Base tileset: Skeletal Hideout (no MTX) Had this idea of a blue hideout bouncing around my head for a while now, a place where my Exile cosplaying as a crystalline blue wight would feel right at home. Also wanted to recreate something akin to the Nocturnal Hideout tileset before we could farm for it (yay!♥) soooo, working with one of the OG tilesets it is. Blue, black and silver were the name of the game here for a gloomy abode matching the Stygian MTXs' feel and palette, with a heaping helpin' of crystals for good measure. Turned into some kind of temple to a blue goddess in the end. Perhaps there was also a bit of subliminal inspo from the league theme/colours tossed in there? I see you metallic bones growing on the portal arch! There would have been a lot more abyssal bones to enhance that wight/lich vibe, but alas, 750 happened sooner than expected T^T More pics for the curious:

So this is the first time ever i actually tried to decorate my HO and im kinda happy as i feared it would look horrible but its going a good way in my eyes. Not super happy and there are still spots left to be re-designed to perfection but i like it as a start since im still figuring out all the things that i can use or buy from masters.
Hope anybody likes the idea :D its my take on Prehistoric excavation แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย C0ntroled0ne เมื่อ 3 ก.ย. 2021 08:54:44

Name: Oriath's Reclamation
Hideout: Vast Plains Hideout (MTX) MTX used? Yes Youtube/Video Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx17d1Y1F8w Images of the hideout below in the spoiler!

This project took me around 20-30 hours from start to finish overall. The whole idea around my hideout is based on sailing off from Oriath in search of a new island to colonize, rebuild, and settle on after Sirus completely demolished and obliterated old Oriath as a whole. I will be uploading this to a hideout showcase website and providing a link to it in the bio of my video once the competition ends on the 12 of September. If GGG needs it uploaded to check it out just shoot me a message. This was my first time making a hideout and it was actually pretty fun and nice to see how it turned out in the end. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย ImHardforhalo เมื่อ 4 ก.ย. 2021 21:06:23

Little Houses of the Gods Hideout: All at Sea MTX: Yes(ish) Inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli, this tranquil hideout is home to eight million spirits (八百万の神) housed in the many Kami-dana strewn across this hauntingly beautiful little island. The season is in bloom and red petals light the boughs of the trees. A labyrinth of hot pipes carry water from springs underneath the island up to the two pools at either side of it, one for washing clothes and one for bathing. A warm kitchen, a garden, and several sea-facing outlooks otherwise welcome any visitor lucky enough to be spirited away to the Little Houses of the Gods.

Flowers of the Dross
Video: https://youtu.be/P7KDfUiNce0 Even in the bleakest of places beauty can bloom. Imagine a world of metal. There is a swamp where the slag and oil gather and the machines go to die. Unexpectedly, a place such as this is crawling with live, of sorts. Scavengers, giant monstrosities of metal and flesh roam the marsh. But a glimmer of beauty sprouts, bringing a purple hue to this metallic land. The flowers of the dross. Theme: Swamp junkyard inhabited by machine creatures and purple flowers. Hideout type: Excavated Hideout No MTX More info:

Includes: Frog, Worm, Crocodile, Spider, Fly, Dragonfly, Anglerfish
I wanted to create a Hideout with the same theme to my previous one (https://hideoutshowcase.com/hideout/show/3346/title/The%20Copper%20Tangle) but also with the relatively new lotus objects. Fitting for the purple light I chose the Excavated Hideout where the ground tile is also looking good. I came up with the map device flower by pure luck while fiddling around with some random decoration stacking and rotating. After adding the blood and water which looked in the purple light like oil I added some creatures commonly found in swamps. The armored frog creature turned out the best but I also like the eye of the crocodile and the spider's legs look very real. There is a small story of Tane walking in the swamp and being lured by the corpse hanging down but he does not see the anglerfish lurking. Most of the masters are placed inside walls or other objects because they don't fit the theme but still accessible. The six eyed worm was supposed to be a serpent but making a serpent head was too hard in that position. Wandering in this hideout feels like an adventure through a horror wonderland. https://imgur.com/a/3M27npl แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย G4nzo เมื่อ 25 ก.ค. 2024 12:49:06

Siren's Shrine
All at Sea Hideout An abandoned shrine with several mysterious pools inside. This hideout combine the floor "All at Sea" tileset with water plane an azurite chunk to create deep blue colour for the pools, creating the feel of unfathomable depth. Fellshrine ruins decoration were used to create walls of the shrine. The height of this decoration create the illusion of high ceiling space.
