So i've tried a simulacrum and died pretty much immediately at wave 20 with the spiders build, i'm assuming this either isn't the best simul build or i'm just lacking resists somewhere :/
Any chance you could have a look at what i'm missing? I have about 8 div for upgrades. |

" I used AG, and will use another, but with the nerfs in all minion life, some times you just lose your AG and don't know what gave him that damage. Even with good equips your AG can die randomly for some Archnemesis mod. I just gave up building another AG because of the maps i'm doing, they have a lot of juice, it's difficult to sustain the AG, bosses can kill your AG, but it's okay they suppose to be difficult... but in the state of the game, you can easily lost your AG for a random rare mob. |

I'm now mapping with the spider build and most of the gear that I need and I'm loving it <3 It is so much fun to play ^^
Only sometimes I stand there without spiders but I'm running from pack to pack. Sometimes I have only 2-4 spiders left in the next pack and sometimes none. Am I doing something wrong? Critical Stirke Skeleton Mages (high budget)
ABOUT  This is a high budget build that scales the DPS into 10s of millions by focusing on critical strike damage. However, the build leans more towards glass cannon than super tanky. The support minions are also a bit squishy, so you need to keep an eye on the Animate Guardian. I made this build on my Guardian, but it can be adapted for the Necromancer with some changes.  SKELETON MAGES The build uses Dead Reckoning to summon skeleton mages, which shoot enemies with fire, cold or lightning projectiles. Gear, Gems & Links, Flasks
GENERAL Here is an overview of the gear, including gems, links and examples. You will need to self-craft some items with fossils and essences. Also make sure you have 75% elemental resistance, and positive chaos resistance. HELMET The helmet has +2 to all minion gems and reservation efficiency. The enchant should be Skeleton damage. And it should also have +1 skeleton number, if possible. The gems are: Anomalous Raise Spectre, Anomalous Stone Golem, Divergent Animate Guardian and Anomalous Feeding Frenzy. For the spectres, I’m using 2 host chieftains, 1 carnage chieftain and 1 pale seraphim. Feeding Frenzy makes the AG suicidal, so it might be better to use Meat Shield or Elemental Army instead. BODY The body armour is a +2 Fleshcrafter. It can be +2 duration or +2 minion. The gems are: Vaal Summon Skeletons, Awakened Minion Damage, Awakened Spell Echo, Divergent Predator, Increased Critical Damage and Increased Critical Strikes. I swap critical strikes to Summon Phantasms for mapping. GLOVES The gloves are Vixen’s Entrapment to get a second curse, as well as auto-casting the socketed curse. The gems are: Sniper’s Mark, Precision, Convocation and Tempest Shield. *Self-cast curse is socketed in the shield. BOOTS The boots have Brittle Ground for +2% crit chance. The gems are: Zealotry, Haste, Awakened Generosity and Enlighten 4. WEAPON The wand has +1 to all spells, +1 to minions, and trigger. And the gems are: Desecrate, Spirit Offering and Life Tap. SHIELD The shield has +1 to minions, increased critical chance for minions and life recovery on block. The gems are: Flame Dash, Steelskin and Punishment. *Punishment is the self-cast curse, which triggers Sniper’s mark in the gloves. *Alternative* You can make the build tankier with Aegis Aurora and swap Haste aura to Determination (no generosity) AMULET The amulet is Ashes of the Stars. Reservation efficiency is the most important mod. And the anointment is Arcane Guardian for extra spell block. RINGS Use your rings to get lots of life and resistances. I also used my rings to get enough Strength and Dex. BELT The belt is Darkness Enthroned with two best Ghastly Eye jewels. " Try to get as much spell suppression as possible! Just to keep safe when block doesn't work. The damage is overkill, so definitely use Aegis aurora + determination (swap shield and haste) if you can! You can also think about using shield spectres instead of dps spectres.
