The +2 also helps a lot for golems tankiness, and it's not +2 just for golems. The wand also has other useful mods, unlike Clayshaper which has only one good mod, which is basically 25% more dps for golems.

Carrion is expensive early, I recommend starting with Spectres, and respec later.

Best mappers are Arakaali spiders, but probably they will take a hit next league.

Well, show us a non-spiders summoner build that can reach 300 scourge stacks reliably in T14 Tower map, or another T14+ map, without beyond, master missions, fragments or scarabs.
