[3.25] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything
" Evasion and overleech. No AN rare or T16 map boss has come close to killing me, unlike last league when I died too often at level 95+ to sentinel-buffed bosses. The build is really tanky as soon as you have good evasion and the overleech ascendancy (Soul Drinker.) แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Graiaule#7461 เมื่อ 17 ก.ย. 2022 20:18:21

Hey guys, just wondering if there's a way that I can possibly improve this build in any meaningful way. I can't help but feel slightly underwhelmed by the damage considering the amount of currency invested in the build :(
I know my body armor is kinda eh since it's not evasion based, but other than that I'm not sure what I can really improve on. Here's my PoB link for the full setup: https://pastebin.com/KJQYbLug Would greatly appreciate any suggestions, thanks! แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย shadowrs#0988 เมื่อ 19 ก.ย. 2022 14:49:35

Hi,
how can I get the "Gain a Frenzy Charge every 15 seconds" on the Chest? |
|
" Can you or anyone else look at my build and see what needs to improve to get it more tanky? I only got 4 divines, 146c and like 2 divines worth of stuff to sell I think https://poe.ninja/pob/HO3 แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย TheChosenOne_#3026 เมื่อ 18 ก.ย. 2022 22:17:15

" Basically replace every single item except your boots. In more or less priority order, and very little crafting RNG: 1. Get a sadist garb with ~350ES/~1400+ evasion, 50+ int if possible and 1 free suffix, and craft 6% increased attrs (search for "of Hillock's veil to get the craft.) 2. Get an ilvl 75-79 Hubris circlet with 43+ int and a free suffix and slam it with a hunter orb. Make sure it has no free prefixes before you do that. 3. Buy a 15% incr int belt with no quality (1 div), scour, 4x intrinsic, and slam with deafening spite until you get a good resist and/or ES. 4. Tranquility needs to be on your boots not your amulet, as stampede is the BiS (so it won't be replaced.) 5. Look for 140+ int mirrored rings with either a good all resist or a good single resist more than 87%. 6. Get a glove with 51+ int and the resists you need. Craft 3% dam per 100 int and 15% chance to unnerve with eldritch orbs. That'll cost you less than 100c unless you're unlucky. 7. Keep an eye out for 18% staffs. If they remain too expensive, buy the 4 div cards instead and keep turning in until you get two 18% ones. 8. Flasks should be focused on rare/unique enemies except the bleed flask. In the above process you want to get 87% to each elemental resist. So there'll be some tweaking. If you can get 87% on both rings, it's really easy to get 87% on your other gear. You've got a lot of work ahead of you. Check out other posters' gear also for ideas. ---------------------------------- NOTE: To make it VERY clear, that's just the FIRST round of upgrades. Later you'll upgrade your chest, and likely rings and amulet and gloves and maybe even helm. ----------------------------------- I'm going to start crafting with reflection of Kalandra to see if I can upgrade my amulet and rings. About 3 divine a try, so seems worthwhile. I seem to have maxed out what I can purchase in trade (not really seeing any upgrades there, and I'm just going to avoid the 10%/14%/1% per 15 int amulet for now.) [See next post for the detailed analysis of using Kalandra's Reflection.] แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Graiaule#7461 เมื่อ 19 ก.ย. 2022 23:13:46

I assumed that the 50% chance to go positive or negative was true for all affixes, like GGG says.
I get the following table for all affixes, good affixes, and probabilities for getting that specific number of good affixes. E.g., the second entry below says that: if you have 1 affix, and you have 1 good (i.e., useful and not detrimental should it go negative) affix, then you have a 1.0 probability of getting an item with a positive and increased value of that affix. The table is interesting. At the end is a condensed summary. # of affixes 1 # of good affixes 0: 0: 1.0 1: 0.0 # of affixes 1 # of good affixes 1: 0: 0.0 1: 1.0 # of affixes 2 # of good affixes 0: 0: 1.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 # of affixes 2 # of good affixes 1: 0: 0.0 1: 1.0 2: 0.0 # of affixes 2 # of good affixes 2: 0: 0.0 1: 0.5 2: 0.5 # of affixes 3 # of good affixes 0: 0: 1.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 # of affixes 3 # of good affixes 1: 0: 0.0 1: 1.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 # of affixes 3 # of good affixes 2: 0: 0.0 1: 0.5 2: 0.5 3: 0.0 # of affixes 3 # of good affixes 3: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.75 3: 0.25 # of affixes 4 # of good affixes 0: 0: 1.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 # of affixes 4 # of good affixes 1: 0: 0.0 1: 1.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 # of affixes 4 # of good affixes 2: 0: 0.0 1: 0.5 2: 0.5 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 # of affixes 4 # of good affixes 3: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.75 3: 0.25 4: 0.0 # of affixes 4 # of good affixes 4: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.375 3: 0.5 4: 0.125 # of affixes 5 # of good affixes 0: 0: 1.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 # of affixes 5 # of good affixes 1: 0: 0.0 1: 1.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 # of affixes 5 # of good affixes 2: 0: 0.0 1: 0.5 2: 0.5 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 # of affixes 5 # of good affixes 3: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.75 3: 0.25 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 # of affixes 5 # of good affixes 4: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.375 3: 0.5 4: 0.125 5: 0.0 # of affixes 5 # of good affixes 5: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.625 4: 0.3125 5: 0.0625 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 0: 0: 1.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 6: 0.0 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 1: 0: 0.0 1: 1.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 6: 0.0 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 2: 0: 0.0 1: 0.5 2: 0.5 3: 0.0 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 6: 0.0 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 3: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.75 3: 0.25 4: 0.0 5: 0.0 6: 0.0 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 4: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.375 3: 0.5 4: 0.125 5: 0.0 6: 0.0 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 5: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.625 4: 0.3125 5: 0.0625 6: 0.0 # of affixes 6 # of good affixes 6: 0: 0.0 1: 0.0 2: 0.0 3: 0.3125 4: 0.46875 5: 0.1875 6: 0.03125 ------------------------------ We can condense the above table to: If you have 1 good affix, you can always improve it. If you have 2 good affixes, 50% chance to improve both and 100% to improve 1. 3: 25% chance to improve all three, and 100% chance to improve at least 2. 4: 12.5% chance to improve 4, 62.5% chance to improve 3 or 4, and 100% to improve 2, 3, 4 5: 6.25% chance to improve 5, 37.5% chance to improve 4 or 5, and 100% chance to improve at least 3. 6: 3.125% chance to improve 6, 21.875% chance to improve 5 or 6, 68.75% chance to improve 4, 5, or 6, and 100% to improve at least 3. Note it DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY BAD AFFIXES THERE ARE -- the only thing that matters is the more good affixes you have, the better your chances of ending up with more of them improved. All of the above is assuming my code is correct. I did test a few cases that I knew the answer for, and it matched. I commend GGG on coming up with a scheme that behaves as I would expect it to, where the better the item you put in, the better chance of getting a great item out. That's the way it should work. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Graiaule#7461 เมื่อ 19 ก.ย. 2022 23:18:01

OK, here I am putting my currency where my math is.
Starting with that I crafted with a lucky spite that Bellaluna gave me! Doing a difficulty 13 Reflection of Kalandra. Basically I need both the Int and +attrs to hit. We will see. OK, here's the result. I had a 50% chance of bricking it, and avoided that. But even though the rest of the rolls were the worst possible choices, it's still a DPS upgrade! Hmm maybe it's not a dps upgrade -- PoB apparently doesn't consider cast rate. I go from 1.93 casts/sec to 1.40. Ah well. The exercise was illuminating, regardless, and a lot of fun to do. ---------------- I wonder if I'm overthinking things. For that amulet, I needed both +int and +attrs to hit. That clearly occurs only 50% of the time. If I just had those good affixes on the amulet (via annuls) then I'd have about 1500 more ES, but a little less dps. Hmmm. Basically it's a choice between a 50% chance at a ~275 int amulet and no negatives, and a 50% chance at a ~275 int amulet with some quantity of negatives and positives. If just one of the bad rolls had flipped on that one, I'd be in sweet city. So -- after some reflection -- I still think my approach was correct. Get as many good affixes as you can. ----------------- One last comment -- if there's a hidden constraint and you only get half of your affixes +'s on a roll regardless of the 50% rule, then all of the above are thrown out. I sure hope that's not the case. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Graiaule#7461 เมื่อ 20 ก.ย. 2022 03:59:14

Hey, i dont think i will play any other build this league so i wanted to sink my currency (about 45 DIvines) into my build to upgrade it.
i dont have so much currency usually, so right now i think my build is already very well equipped. But maybe i miss something? Can you also see my Tree, and my jewels? I feel like my damage and defenses are already good, but better is always good xD EDIT Jewels: แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Jack_Man#7491 เมื่อ 20 ก.ย. 2022 14:59:35

I like this build! Six-links free, no chaos dmg, no stress!
This is the second league I play and last Sentinel league was pretty much a disaster that I couldn't even pass all maps. I was looking for a relax and safe CI build this league because I hate poison dmg then one day I found this. I already passed all Atlas maps with random gears. I only bought the weapon and boots. Other gears were just made from orb of alchemy or found on the street. I only had half INT of the budget version and not even put all suggested skill gems in the sockets lol. 10/10 recommend แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย enterme#4907 เมื่อ 20 ก.ย. 2022 09:13:34

" I would think an ES+EV chest would be better due to our Ascendancy giving us ES for EV on our chest, so even 300/1500 would translate to more overall ES, *plus* higher evasion. You would also want a Hunter helm with 10% Int. Your characters aren't public on your profile so I can't see the Jewels. EDIT: Just came across this guy in heist, this might've been worth something in another league but probably not this one: แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย King_Haart#0812 เมื่อ 20 ก.ย. 2022 13:49:14
