[3.26] Ice Dancing God - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything
Looking for tips on where to go next.
https://pobb.in/aTm9KNsHswOu Starting to figure this out and know that ring and gloves are probably my next target. Any tips is appreciated as well as farming methods people are using. Trying some legion as well as the odd Betrayal thing as I don't quite have the ability to do 16.5+ maps for strongbox yet. |

" You’re level 90 and haven’t taken Chaos Inoculation yet. There are so many sources of Chaos damage in the endgame, and it bypasses Energy Shield anyways, so you’re missing out on a ton of survivability. Better to just reduce all that damage to zero than try to rely on 1300 HP. It will also allow you to ditch your two Life Flasks and get/automate the Critical and anti-Stun flasks, with an anti-Curse mod on one of them. You already have a Watcher’s with Clarity mana recoup, so you can switch your Mana Mastery at the top of the tree from mana recoup to reservation efficiency. Also, you shouldn’t need the Sovreignty wheel at all yet since you’re still only running three auras. Reclaim those points and put them elsewhere. Maybe the crit wheel above the leech wheel, or the little INT/damage/resist side branches in the rectangle on the left. You can get by with only a little bit of unreserved mana unless you’re running with a Gravebind merc who is stealing all your kills and negating your Polymath mana restores. Speaking of your auras, with only 6200 ES, you’ve switched to Zealotry too early. Swap it back to Discipline for more survivability until you get a good bit more ES on gear. If you find me online in-game (MercTith this season), message me and I probably still have a hand-me-down of a better chest in a forgotten stash tab and definitely have a couple of rings with huge +INT and +res% (as long as you don’t mind -rarity% on them). แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Tithonia#4676 เมื่อ 3 ก.ค. 2025 23:35:07

Say. If there is a ring that has bonkers resists and has -Life, and I have Chaos Inoculation, does my life total drop below 1 into the negatives killing me? Because if I can carry a minus life ring, then I can shenanigan the hell out of my ring slots with some of the things I'm seeing on the market for cheap.

" “-X to maximum life” is fine with CI. (CI sets your max life to 1, no matter what.) “Lose X life on _____” will kill you. |

This was incredibly helpful. I'll be doing these suggestions this weekend. I have added you (I'm Rakestorm, or some form of Rake"x").
I'll continue to farm gear on this guy while I try out Ranger as well. This thread has been very helpful. |

" Yes. Explosions are awesome. It's the whole point of having a merc and giving the enemies 40-50% more life. If you want to do No Regen No Leech maps - just do them without the merc. This build is strong enough to do everything. You don't need a merc to carry you. Unless you are just starting and have 'beginner' gear, your damage is far higher than any merc's. The only real benefit that outweighs the extra hp on the enemy is the explosions. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Kelvynn#6607 เมื่อ 5 ก.ค. 2025 07:07:56

" You could certainly build a support merc that would give you more than 50% more damage. Two 50% auras, Kingmaker, curse bot with Anathema, there are a lot of possibilities. For instance, using a merc with good damage coverage and equipping it with Anathema, some source of +power charge and four curses on hit would give you the damage of two additionnal curses, free up your chest sockets and let you annoint something else for extra damage. Just that setup would be enough to compensate for the extra health. You can even use Asenath's gloves in that setup to get the explosions amd one of the curses. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย WinterHiko#1542 เมื่อ 5 ก.ค. 2025 07:31:19
