Arcane Surge Support no longer causes Arcane Surge to grant more Spell Damage. Instead, it now causes Arcane Surge to grant 10% increased Cast Speed at gem level 1, scaling up to 20% at gem level 20. this basically means that the buff from AS itself gives you a minor buff to cast-speed no matter what you use, while you get the damage buff only for the linked skill .

before you could link AS to your movement-skill or some buff setup to receive the damage bonus on all your skills, now you need to directly link it .

they basically bound the damage-multi to the gem itself, instead of the buff it provides .


e.g. :
right now you can use arcane cloak + arcane surge to get a huge buff on Mana-Hierophant for your Arc or whatever - not anymore

When has GGG ever made adjustments in drop rates that benefit the players?... Oh right never! I expect breach stones to be super expensive this league. Not looking forward to that at all.

The Formless Inferno Unique Helmet changes could be cool. Might have to try a build with that.

As if they were not rare enough already. I have gone days without seeing one. Now I'll go years without seeing one. Though the Bubonic Trail Unique Boots look great for aura builds now. Like as in OP end game chase item now. So, don't make a build around anything abyssal. As you won't see the loot anyways. And the prices will be way to high.
