Content Update 3.21.0 -- Path of Exile: Crucible

backtracking the adrenaline mastery really just shows poor knowledge and understanding of the game....People weren't complaining about Adrenaline being OP. They were complaining about it being OP when you can have near 100% uptime with one of the worst mechanics ever introduced in POE. There were much simpler solutions to not make make this mastery complete garbage.

pf received the same treatment too. why would you remove conversion and aoe? also happened to trickster and gladiator in the past. I love mostly everything about poe, but you guys never fail to amaze me with your awful ascendancy changes

elementalist was already stronger than sabo for traps, now it's not even close. seismic trap sabo will still be good, and it looks like you've only thought about seismic trap sabo when you made these changes

so please, at least connect explosives expert to pyromaniac. make it like deadeye's tree


After checking out the new pob.. sabo isn't as bad as I thought. It's still not great though because its a big nerf to any non-aoe based mines or traps. Also, Demolition expert is actually one of the strongest nodes for burst damage. 20 mines tossed =100 percent chance to do double damage with high impact mine support essentially making it a 60% more multi on full stacks for mines. I like the idea of trigger based ascendancies though, however; where is the synergy? traps and mines don't trigger anything, so for coc builds for example.. you get 2 notables but removed some useful damage mods for focused trappers and miners. So the argument about expanding build diversity by adding these "trigger" nodes is entirely flawed. Miners and trappers are now pushed to use aoe only based skills. Coc gets 2 notables while every other ascendancy will have more options and more damage in general. ????


It's a trap ascendancy now! I mean for noobs, not for traps :)

It's a good change and has little to do with crybabies. The Adrenaline thing was unbalanced. There have been plenty of complaints about the game and that they changed this one shows that they hadn't considered all ramifications. Look at some of the interactions Adrenaline has, for example with the Ascendancies, and you'll see it's broken, not good. It is a shame that they first take some of our movement stuff away and I am NOT a fan of the general slowdown of the game. But I would like the onslaught back and general movement speed buffs. Not this broken adrenaline bs. That is like trying to fix your car with strapping a bomb to the back and hope it blows up in the right direction.

Adrenaline is fine... 100% uptime was the problem with an awful mechanic that required spamming stance changing. There were many better solutions to the problem.

I just noticed:

"Fixed a bug where Claw projectiles from Cobra Lash had a lower base projectile speed than those from Daggers."

Any idea how much that actually means?

Played cobra lash a couple leagues ago and enjoyed it for the most part, but the proj speed was definitely the biggest problem, imo. Even after taking the mastery and a notable on tree. Bummer thinking about how it might have been bugged the whole time.
hmm, just want more love for melee. Especially dual, gladiator and old useless skills.
