Your build doesnt utilize much of anything from this build. This build is for aurastacking/armor/block and becoming unkillable. Giving you advice on how soulrend works when you are using soulrend of the reaping or spiral which gets rid of one of the core things the base soulrend does. Please again. Seek help from the appropriate forums where these exact builds are lmao

The build could easily be played with Soulrend of Reaping, Spiral, or regular Soulrend – and it wouldn’t even require major changes to the passive tree. It’s still very much a self-cast Soulrend build, regardless of ascendancy.

Honestly, I could take your build and play it on a Trickster with minimal adjustments, and you could do the same with mine on a Witch. That’s exactly why I wanted to compare them – to have a meaningful discussion about Soulrend as a skill, not just which ascendancy tag is on the PoB link.

If it makes you feel better, you’re welcome to consider it a “Witch” build in spirit. But dismissing the whole post just because of the ascendancy label comes across as unnecessarily rigid – and frankly, it doesn’t encourage actual exchange or exploration of the archetype.

This build: Occultist (Hence the forum)

Do you think it will be worth to get the golem cluster top of the tree for chaos golem and another golem (like stone golem for even more ES)

I'm not going to lie I completely forgot that existed. That may actually be a big play for damage. It will probably be a difference of about 40% damage over time multiplier which is a decent chunk for only 4ish points

I played this build on 3.24 and it was awesome, thanks for all your help back then.

I was trying to take some inspiration from this build and try to self-cook a build on the new elementalist, going a bit deeper into the golems ofc, and potentially deal with defensive layers with phys conversion shenanigans.

Did you ever think of doing a similar version but on Elementalist? What do you think the major differences would be, and which do you think could ultimately be better?

The worst thing I can think of atm is losing pops from Profane Bloom.

Losing your explosion will be the hardest part of switching possibly an issue with being stunned so youd need to find an immunity for that. You may also encounter enemies which are the bane to DoT builds. These are enemies with insane HP regen. I think the golem changes are pretty insane and worth a test so excited to see how that works for you.

I will probably be getting the flesh and flame jewel to get the elemancer and see how it feels. (If those jewels aren't like 100 divs lmao)

For options for explosion you can try asenaths gloves. You can try getting unspeakable gifts on 2 large cluster jewels.

For options on stun immunity you can get Unwaveringly evil on large clusters to always make sure your soulrend casts.


Also remember you can get a flesh and flame of any occultist node. So if you absolutely cant play without one of the nodes then you could make room for that by dropping some jewels
