Thanks for the build mate.
First timer POE here. Been using it for my first run, but I have to say, I can't quite wrap my head around how you use Power Charges. Very likely due to my own misunderstanding of the game, but it seems none of the spells you list generate charges?
Again, could be wrong, but would appreciate the help.

To start with you generate power charges by using Power Siphon on a wand to cull enemies. This isn't very efficient!
Once you get the keystone passive skill "Resonance" you'll need to generate Frenzy Charges instead (which get converted into power charges) and you do this with the persistent skill "Combat Frenzy" which gives you a charge every time you Pin an enemy
Finally you use the unique boots "Bushwhack" which adds pin chance to all physical damage, so you don't need to add it with support gems.

Another noob here. Combat Frenzy requires 30 Spirit, which the supports for Life Remnants (Vitality and Clarity) also do, so I guess we're not expected to use Frenzy before getting to 60 Spirit?
Just realized the Bog Witch in Act 3 gives another 30, solving my conundrum.

I really appreciate your post, as a new player I learned a lot from it - the trick with Frenzy Charges, the fact that there are other support gems other than recommended :D, etc.
Trying Bonestorm build with Infernalist, will make a few tweaks here and there, thank you for the effort!

Hi; thinking about foregoing the shield and grabbing the Malice scepter instead, primarily for aesthetic reasons. Is there anything y'all would recommend using the extra Spirit on?
My first thought was grabbing a minion with high health and a skeletal cleric and finding somewhere to add Minion Pact, but I'm not far enough into the game to actually experiment with this yet, so I figured I'd ask first.

You have to cut it from "All Gems" then manually slot it in.

Update: Now I understand that supporting Life Remnants takes the 30 spirit we earned on Act 1

Nope. Life Remnants, like all persistent skills granted by ascendancies, is free.
