not dropping for me after I died on the first attempt

same here, killing boss but no drop, also 2nd character in ssf

10 runs today, no hammer drop for me.

i arrived to this thread for the same reason, there is no drop of the quest item afte the boss is defeated

2nd char new league: no drop

try 4 runs, still no drop the hammer. happen 2nd char new league

Same here,
no drop tried twice and it's my second character in the league.
Also, the area seems to behave differently than I remember: while in the boss area, I can't walk up to the area start (where the lava flow starts to pour when the boss comes to battle). If I recall, I could walk back there. Seems everything beyond where the lava was flowing is not accessible.
