Rage on hit weapon corruption not giving rage

Just got the corruption "gain 1 rage on hit" on a two handed mace and it does not generate any rage at all. I tested both starting with 0 rage as well as using another skill to get rage first and both ways it generates no rage.

I'm having the exact same issue as you with a quarterstaff.

This is happening with me too, i have a warstaff with the corrupted implicit Gain 1 Rage on Hit, i tried to hit with basic attacs, gems, take hits, and it doesnt generate the rage at all.

I also corrupted a staff for "Gain 1 rage on hit" and I do not gain the rage on hit. I do get rage on hit from a jewel giving "Gain 1 rage on melee hit"

I have the same issue with a Gothic Quaterstaff using Tempest Flurry.

The implicit is not generating rage.
