POE 2 Long loading sreen/Lag in new area

Same. Every single time I load into a map, everything is fine until an enemy loads in, then I get extreme lag and around 2-5 fps, then I just die. I've lost so many Waystones from this. After this extreme lag, if I live, I get no lag the rest of the map except any boss that loads in from an effect. I'm so tired of dying to this.

EDIT: SOLVED: I simply moved the game files to my main SSD that is C: and it works perfectly fie now.

Push. Reason: Same problem.

I had this issue and found a solution although i do not know if this will apply to everyone. What i found was that even though the game was installed on my SSD it was directing all my shaders to be saved on my old HDD i had which i was using as a backup for windows. I tried to direct the shader caches to be on the SSD but it just kept auto defaulting to the HDD. I just removed the HDD from the computer itself and re-downloaded POE2 so everything was set to the SSD. After this the game ran smooth and even at the start of new maps when mobs first spawned in it had no lag. Hope this helps someone.
