New Gear Base Type Fixes, Gear Stats, All Images - v0.9.118 - 3/09/2025

Important: You should update your filter. New top-tier Gear Base Types were not correctly tiered as Elite.

- Correctly moved the new Act 4-based top-tier Gear Base Types to Elite tier. These used to be in Advanced tier, so you would have missed them. Our sincere apologies; more info on the Changelog page.
- Added stats for all new Gear.
- Added all correct images.

I noticed that only body armours don't have items in the expert category in the "gear bases" tab, is that correct?

That's intentional. Since all of the 'top tier' ones all have different implicits (except the one with the highest defence value), it's hard to choose one which is objectively better than the others -- it'd depend on your build.

Once the community settles on which ones are clearly worse than the other ones, I'll demote those to Expert. I'm very open to suggestions on that matter!

Why is Scroll of Wisdom listed as A-Tier in the Tier Lists? Is that a website bug? It doesn't seem to be higlighted as such in the game

Thanks for reporting. Apparently even with the new ingame currency exchange API, the value of cheaper currency can't be trusted ;). Should be fixed now!

I'm here to share my story.
I used poe2filter back in 2024.
Did not play in 0.2.
Returned with 0.3 start.
Logged in to poe2filter, selected "level 1" preset, copied a filter.
Saw that it hides too much.
Decided that it was bugged.
Went to filterblade.
Finished the campaign, started maps.
Came back to poe2filter.
Selected "level 70" preset, tweaked some quick filters.
Saw that it still hides too much.
Spent half an hour dropping different items, scratching my head and reading filter text.
Found out that it hides itemlevel <= 81.
Double-checked that itemlevel filter is not on and exceptions are correct.
Looked at tier lists tab.
Looked at custom rules tab.
Why are there so many rules?
Were they generated by preset?

Haha! You're saying your Custom Rules from 2024 which you'd forgotten about were hiding tons of stuff? Oh damn!

Well, I guess I could add some kind of warning if someone comes back after more than say 6 months... :D

At some point I think I'm also going to end the automatic 'inifinite migrations'; they require a lot of code which must be included in the initial bundle, bloating the bundle size. I might create a separate tab or so which is loaded asynchronously where you can try to upgrade a really old filter. That would have maybe also prevented this.

That's really weird! They should definitely get hidden! Are you sure the filter is loaded properly in-game; and that you don't have any custom rules which might show them (e.g. 'All Currency')? If not, if you send me your .filter file I can have a closer look.

May be a warning on selecting a level 1 preset while having custom rules. Or not)

The "action" option is pointless, it still remembers the last applied settings.
