Doryani's prototype and armor stacking in poe2 is not working correctly
in patch 0.1.1 this is still present.
I have 18k armour before endurance charge charge infusion buff and 3.5k life Lightning bolts, vall factory still 2 shotting me. |

While Armour and Doryanis Prototype are lacking, id say lets wait what defensive capabilites the templar brings.
Also The Burrower Topaz Ring seems to be really bad because of the lightning resistance but at the same time could help vs lightning hits because of Lightning Damage of Enemies Hitting you is Unlucky. Would be really good for doryanis if that ring had negative or no resistances.. Right now Doryanis Prototype + Alphas Cowl + Pyromancer (Altered Flesh, Beidats Will and for example Seething Body for offense and loyal hellhound for more defense) + Sacred Flame Shrine Sceptre is probably the best usecase. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Lord_Arrrr#5797 เมื่อ 19 ม.ค. 2025 08:43:33

I've been experimenting with this interaction too, it feels like the negative resistance on the enemy has a much much much less multiplier effect on damage then when you have negative resistance. And the instant kill from enemies when we're 'using armor' on lightning damage might be just not negating the ailments so we negate the initial lightning damage but get instant shocked with -100 lighting res.

This is still not working properly. Please address this.
Not only does any bit of lightning damage instagib you, regardless of your armour, but the negative resists aren't affecting damage dealt properly. -200 lightning res with 500+ crit damage should rip. It doesn't. Please fix. |
