I played 200h+ and have both a Warr and Monk with lvl 90 and got 8th Accendancy and defeated Xesht, so maybe I'm not newbie. But the more i play the more i feel like devs designed many mechanics just to make melee ONLY suffers.

I’m not struggling with monk or warrior. I’m clearing maps well with melee. I have good defences and I haven’t invested more than 2-3 div into the builds so I don’t agree with you. Also, consider what true melee is. It is obviously not going to be as efficient or as safe as a character with ranged skills that can kite and clear off-screen monsters, so what should the devs do? Make your mace fly around the map one shotting everything? Maybe you’ll get your wish.

With those gears level, I doubt you can run endgame map/boss to have same feeling with me.
Try to play Spark mage that can farm more than 10 div per hour and you will understand. I have tried it and see that melee could never archive this.

there is no way you can’t run endgame with monk. Literally has one of the bests ascendancies. Also lol, just because I haven’t spent tens or hundreds of divs doesn’t mean I can’t clear endgame. I play mostly SSF and farm my own gear. The 2-3 divs are for a weapon and some boots maybe. It just shows you’re a bit inexperienced at the game and that’s not to insult you.
I’ve invested more time and currency into the builds as I’ve progressed obviously but it is no where near what you make it out to be. Feel free to add me in game, I can even help you and check your gear. I’m not saying I’m an expert either, but what you’re saying doesn’t add up for me because I’m having a completely different experience.

I also have to say, in order to get the spark mage up and running so that you’re clearing well, sustaining mana, have good survivability and movement speed, you need to invest so much more than for example the monk or warrior. Those 2-3 divs ain’t gonna cut it for sure.
