Jarngreipr bug

Currently working on a build using Warrior with Jarngreipr Gloves and Pillar of the caged Gods quarterstaff to use monk skills.

Using ice strike 3 socket 5% at lvl 5 gems i was having no issues.

Upon trying to upgrade gem to lvl 8 I was getting an error about support requirements.

removed support gems, same error.

However if i removed the gem all together i could make a lvl 8 ice Strike, 3 socket it, and put the same support gems in and equip and use skill with no issues.

Current stats

Str:157 Dex:28 Int:21

Support gems socketed: Life thief , Marital Temp, Crescendo

This is a bug with the restrictions system, which is designed to prevent (new) players from making big mistakes.

Workaround: go into Options, 'Game' tab, scroll to bottom. Unclick 'Equipping Restrictions' and 'Gemcutting Restrictions'.

Changed this setting, still got warnings about the requirements however allowed me to click it.

This did not upgrade the gem i was working with , only created a new gem.

Of course i could equip it, but in the long term this would become a problem if i had 4 -5 -6 link 20% gems

something in the programming is not seeing that the gloves are using str to satisfy the requirements to upgrade an existing gem.

Getting the same bug.

- Cannot upgrade my gems, only create new ones for higher levels.
- Loose added sockets (with jewelers) each time you get a higher tier skill.
- Red requirement text in all tooltips.
