PoE2 - Nodes Don't Connect Past Point on Maps

I am completely locked out of mapping right now. I have made a full circle around a perimeter where nothing else connects all the way around. I've tried going into the mountains to see if a node was just not showing but nothing is there either. I still have a few maps within the circle I created but after those are done I can't go any further and find citadels. Since every character is locked to the same atlas, there is no more progress to be made.

Anyone find or know of a fix for this, or am I just out of luck at this point and have to wait for the upcoming wipe to be able to map?
