Character stopped gaining experience [POE2]

Obviously in some maps there is a problem with effects when killing monsters.

One of it is the here described "no-xp-gain". But in addition also the "gain x mana per enemy killed" and "gain x life per enemy killed" effects do not trigger. My Ranger is constantly out of mana in such maps where i don't get xp because main resource of mana is the "gain x mana per enemy killed" and this does not happen in those maps.

Curiously there are some maps that work normal, some where it works absolutely not and sometime there are maps which are something between, i.e. by killing some mobs in this maps it works properly and other (the majority) it does not work...

Edit: You also don't gain flask charges in those maps

It's possible that killing enemies with poison doesn't give you XP, as you don't count as the one that killed them.

Edit: this issue is in the "known issues" list.

You're right...at the moment I've got a map with "Monsters gain xx% of maximum life as extra max energy shield" and - surprise - no xp, mana, life and flask charges...

ok, good to know, now i can avoid maps with this mod...

Just happened to me today but actually took away some xp, started me back at start of my current level, Super upset. Lost not a ton, but some xp towards level 75 (current 74) What the heck
