Volatile Plants: DO MORE

They still aren't obvious hazards at all after this current patch. Give them a unique audio cue or blast their visibility up to 11.

I'm downright sick of the volatile plants modifier. It's especially bad when you can't even get close to the mob to kill it. Caustic ground, flame wall, burning ground, shocked ground, chilled ground, whatever those expanding circles that blow up are, detonate dead, whatever that ground that looks like blood is, mobs that blow up and leave some sort of ailment on the ground, these stupid volatile plants, and I'm sure I'm missing a couple ground effects. The biggest problem is that we don't have enough access to negate most of these effects. Oh and lets not forget the caster mobs that cast some sort of a time-stop orb. It's starting to feel a little bit excessive.
Its the same issue as with the exploding red balls in trials of chaos, they are too fast, deal too much damage, explode too fast and theres too much of them. Dont even try to do the version of ritual with 10+ of them spawning in 5 seconds. Mix that with little area to maneuver (every time on ritual arena) and you are guaranteed to break your fingers. But one mistake and you lose a shit ton of xp.

Yup. PoE2 is creeping steadily toward bullet-hell mechanics to counteract player fun. We can't have too much fun without friction you know.

It's probably not (just) speed, it's also a rendering issue. I've reported of multiple effects not showing their transit until it's right beside my character. I'm not holding my breath on GGG fixing it anytime soon since I don't even know they read their forums LOL
Volatile plants and Proximal Tangibility legit make want to punch my monitor whenever i see them. It's just so unfun. Plants is ESPECIALLY annoying when you play melee and Tangibility is especially annoying when you have any kind of ranged skill. Especially with how the game freezes sometimes due to random server ping spikes from all this DDOS going on i just do my prayers whenever i see em and the stop drop and roll like a million times. The problem isn't the difficulty since they aren't hard but they are just annoying and that's the problem. It's just shit to deal with. The problem isn't the difficulty, i like difficult games and difficulty, but when you have all this shit going on on your screen at like 120% delirious it makes the game nearly unplayable. If you want more "meaningful" combat keep that for the bosses. I shouldn't pop a map and feel like i am getting an ear canal whenever i see these two certain mods. They are both bad offenders due to how poe is as a game. Anything that chases you and blows up in your face or straight up invuln mechanics are just fucking trash and against the philosophy of the game in general.
They don't look different when empowered. That makes them very dangerous. Other than that, I feel like it is fine.
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
