Standard and Dawn of the Hunt - Atlas broken (Three weeks of bug)

up.. having the same problem.. for 2 days.. i guess that one way to quit this patch

My Atlas now seems broken as well. After completing a map, I check my map device and the area is all under fog and it shows that the map is in progress.

I have been changing characters, opening atlas device and then changing back as a workaround. Unfortunately, it seems like it is happening every time now.

Here is what I see after completing a map and checking my map device. I will try to get video because it seems to be happening almost every time I complete a map now.

Somehow this is not on the pinned "known issues" post at the top?


As a side note:
Is this happening on both leagues?
Is it only happening to people who have uncovered a substantial amount of maps?
Would GGG consider letting people /resetatlas as a possible fix?

Seems like you got everything right.

I would add that the bug is actually listed in the pinned thread, but unfortunately it has been incorrectly described as a standard league-only and "sometimes fog covers the area" issue which, considering what it actually is, gives it a high chance it won't be taken seriously (enough), or given the right priority, or even fall in the right hands.

On a more optimistic lookout, if it indeed has been noticed by the right people at GGG, the reason they haven't replied is likely due to it not being appropriately fixed or they simply want to bundle the fix with the next patch, which is supposedly coming out this week. Also, it could also be that the /resetatlas command could not be helping at all or perhaps even making the problem worse. I have seen people mention others exploiting citadels and unique areas, and perhaps constantly resetting the atlas could make the exploit easier to attain.

All in all, it's hard to guess since they haven't talked to us at all for the last 25 days. I'm being hopeful they will address this silence, the bug and perhaps increase the loot drop rate to make up for the lost weeks of play time. Otherwise, I will have nothing else to do with this company again.
