Ps5 pro locked to 1080p 120hz VRR in game

As soon as I open poe2, ps5 switches to 1920 x 1080 and I’m not sure why. I’m on an lg c2 oled. When I navigate to Settings > Screen and Video > Current Video Output Signal, it says 1920 x 1080 vrr 48-120hz, rgb(hdr), 1.4, then it says the hdmi device doesn’t support heck 2.3. Video apps that support 4k might be affected by this. Please, I could use some help.

It only shows 1920 x 1080 in poe2, and goes back to 38xx x when I exit. It started doing this after I crashed loading into jungle ruins.

Setting refresh to 60hz allows it to go into 4k, but when I set it to 120, it switches to 1080
|

Reinstalling did not resolve

So switching to 60 hz lets it go 4k, so I turned it off last night and tv did pixel cleaning. Woke up turned back on, 4k 60hz, switched to 120hz, and it stayed 4k, so it’s resolved.
