Cruel Witch Not Giving Spirit

I have gotten the two 30 spirit items from the first two bosses, but whenever i killed Igdagnuk in cruel act 3, it never gave me spirit. The boss icon is greyed out, but it let me beat her again but it also didn’t work. any suggestions?
