Lich: Eldritch Empowerment ascendency passive skill bug

Eldritch Empowerment says: Spending Energy Shield does not interrupt Recharge.

Event Horizon passive skill spends 3% energy, and does interrupt recharge like any source of damage would, even if used in combination with Eldritch Empowerment.

Either clarify that Eldritch Empowerment is only supposed to not interrupt recharge from it's own energy shield spending, so people know this is nearly useless. Or fix this combination with Event Horizon.

It already specifies "Spending Energy Shield does not interrupt Recharge". The issue here is that "spending" despite being a keyword, is not underlined and lacks a pop-up definition. As a result, many players read it in its regular English meaning. This one is fixable.

Another thing is that from the player's perspective, the negative effect of Event Horizon is similar to skill cost amplifiers (what spending actually cares about). Because it procs when you use a (chaos) skill and makes you lose some resources. Mechanically though, it's not related to skill costs at all. This one is not really fixable (unless GGG functionally change the notable).

Just to clarify, it's not restricted to its own ES spending. It seems there are no other sources of ES spending currently but some may be added in the future.
