Trial of Chaos Bug?

So i was going through trials of chaos and beat the first boss, normally the door would slide open allowing you to continue to the next room, but not this time. when i went to the door it refused to open. so i tried to portal out but no you cant portal out during trials. i then proceeded to exit the game and relaunch hoping to spawn outside of trials but no that didnt work either so now im stuck.
