Sceptre causing crashing - (reduced attribute requirements)

I have a sceptre that requires 34 strength with the reduced atttribute requirements mod.

However you can't socket anything to the discipline that comes up with the sceptre because it doesn't lower the disciple requirements. (Not sure if intended) It is causing me to crash when i equip and unequip the sceptre.
I have 38 strength, discipline requires 46 strength.
