Portals to new map disappear to fast after opening

I just opened a new Map/Waystone.

I never get to enter the portal because it closes to fast.

What i did after opening the portal:

before entering the portal I just remember that i forgot to put in one of my support gems into one of my specters. I go to the stash I find the gem and equipped it into my specters and right after that i then do a weapon swap. At the same time I do the weapon swap I see the portals disappearing.

(Not sure if anything I did after opening the portal can make them close?)

I only spent seconds maybe a minute or so doing this after opening the map portals.

Map Portals clearly shouldn't behave this way and i never experienced it disappearing this fast before, also had content (corruption boss) on the map that got removed so extra annoying and feelesbad moment...

Server i was using was Amsterdam.
