I do not have any intersecting towers, can’t progress any further

I have 2 towers pretty close to each other and then no other towers inside the clear area. All other towers are in the fog and it seems like I cannot progress any further, does anyone know if this is a known issue, can this be fixed? It took me 2 weeks to slog through the campaign only for this to now stop me from playing, anyone?
