Dark effigy bug/problem

I was trying to solve a problem with demonic form. Without any weapons, without any equipped weapon, I have 198 maximum spirit and with Whitering presence and Blasphemy with 2 curse, and with Vitality, I have 34/198 spirit. So I wanted to add Arctic Armour, which worked smoothly when I wasn't in demonic form (4/198 spirit), but I couldn't transform anymore (golden aura appeared above my head). If I transformed and then equippered and activated Arctic armour in demonic form, everything worked.

At this point to better “debug” the problem of spirit or stats, I decided to remove all my gems and try inserting one at a time, but Dark Effigy stopped working, it has the buggy description, even if I wear it, it doesn't show up as a selectable skill. As a test I created a second Dark Effigy gem and tried to put it in and it worked for a couple of minutes, then when I tried to equip the old one, the new one skipped as well. I don't know what to do anymore.



Of course I've already restarted, remove weapon, try again, etc.

What can I do? What is happening?

I've found a solution here in the forum:

"I found a way to fix it using just one extra working gem (no matter what ability).
1. Open the broken gem's ability details
2. While the details window is open, drag the working gem to the broken one's slot.
3. Now drag the broken gem there again.
4. Activate all the checkboxes for the weapon sets I and II."

But now I can't activate the skill for demonic form:

Fixed this: doing again this method I was able to check again the box for the demon form.

It's so bugged this, and never fixed
