Cant launch the game on steam

since the dawn of the hunt update i cant get past the first loading screen when i start the game. it completely freezes my computer, cant open task manager or nothing. i have to completely restart it. i reinstalled the game. checked the integrity of the files. tried all the solutions on the forum. nothing works. any idea on how i can fix this (nvidia)

It's possible the file containing your settings has become corrupted and was never removed when the game was uninstalled prior to you reinstalling it. Try deleting the production_Config file.

It's probably in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_GOES_HERE\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2
