No...the majority of players do not hate the game
" Bro take some time off on the forums. I leave for 24 hours come back and yet still here you are. Move on buddy | |
" Well the majority of people did not change their positive review to a negative one. Also, it could very well be that 0.2 was review bombed, as happens a lot on steam. Also would fit to the behaviour of streamers. Believe me, it's a political movement that wants to control game design through money and politics. |

" I cannot confirm if people who left a positive review changed it back to a negative. I don't know if Steam has that available data. |

" THe thing that gets me the most about him is that I've never met someone who would spend more time on the forum complaining about a game that he doesn't play then playing a game that he actually does enjoy (POE 1). Especially since POE 1 still has servers and is still operational. That to me strikes a cord. All these POE 1 is better than POE 2 can literally log into POE 1 right now and play and yet they don't. " I think your comment is fair, however you also should take into account how many of those reviews are from people influenced by streamers. Not necessarily directly, but directly or indirectly. There's also the fact that the one "hating" on something is always more proactive. People who dislike something are more prone to speak up, because it annoys them. On the other hand, people who like something are comfortable with the situation and the only reason they would mass review a game would be to support it, which isn't really common. The situation of 0.2 is quite interesting, to say the least. If you want to know my opinion (you probably don't, but get ready anyway), I believe everything has been too black or white by the community. There's also a lot of people, from what I have seen, that have been discontent since the beginning that poe2 isn't poe1 and 0.2 expresses that clearly. With a not-so-bright launch of the patch, it gave them fuel to express this in ways that before might have been shunned by the community but now is more openly accepted as a whole. Anyway, we can easily pinpoint more specifics about those reviews, but there's no point. |

" I meeeaaaan...some interest groups pumping money into big video game companies to push propaganda is pretty well documented and self admitted at this point. But realistically I really don't think this has anything to do with drop rates being low in poe 2. At least we can 100% give some credit to ggg for steering clear off that stuff. And so should we if we're talking poe, probably. Quite frankly if we are going to be mad and bicker about thing I'm very happy if we do it about the amount of regal orbs we have instead [Removed by Support]. That would be pretty stupid. I want more regal orbs though. Also I've noticed the size of Atziri's four glorious tits has been considerably nerfed, I've seen it on the statues. Surely this is Klaus Schwab's doing and I strongly disaprove. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย Ayelen_GGG#0000 เมื่อ 27 เม.ย. 2025 19:32:03

"Dude... nobody said, "The majority of players left a negative review". There are two claims supported by evidence: 1) The majority of 0.2 reviews are negative (64%) 2) The majority of players left (66%) That's it. "I did not present a speculation of why these ppl left, I presented you the data of "How many left" and the difference between positive and negative reviews. That's it. "It was an estimate because I was to lazy to do the math when comparing week 1 with week 4, but here for clarity: PoE2:0.2 week 1 avg of 150k PoE2:0.2 week 4 avg of 75k PoE2:0.2 remained 50% (avg) of their players from week 1 to week 4. "The only way to disagree with the conclusion is "the math is wrong", and that can easily be proven. Would it be in favour of the "PoE2 0.2 defenders", I would have presented it this way nonetheless, no matter my personal view because my own opinion is meaningless in a data presentation. Still. So far, two statements are true, no matter what you do with them: 1) The majority of 0.2 reviews are negative (64%) 2) The majority of players left (66% peak/50% avg) NOTE: Not for you, but I don't want to make another comment, so I address it here. The argument "you also should take into account how many of those reviews are from people influenced by streamers" is meaningless for the data we have. It's easily falsifiable with "you also don't know how many positive reviews yadda yadda", thus, not relevant for a data presentation. Furthermore, trying to devalue one side with a purely speculative argument does nothing, especially if it's built on the narrative "don't forget how many ppl don't think for themselves" (paraphrasing). Ppl don't stop "thinking for themselves" from one patch of a game to another. They "think", or they don't. But that's universally true. [Removed by Support]

i don't think the majority of players hate the game either, but it's not sensible in any context to be liking it. just go to ninja and filter by skill gem. that's really not really healthy distribution.
and if you think 0.2 isn't without issues, devs wouldn't have had those interviews with streamers that outlined partially the anger the community was emitting. what's most disappointing however was that JR was somewhat in denial. hawg made videos about it, in a comical sense. so why are we here tryin to pretend and support the game in the state its in? `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL `What are divs?` |
