You don't understand, the game HAS TO one-shot you. And white mobs HAVE TO hit that hard.

White mobs don't have to one shot me. What is this nonsense? They didn't in 0.1. and i enjoyed that version of the game ten times more.

That said for me the biggest issue in terms of enjoying this patch difficulty wise is that there seems to be no middle ground between running around as a glass cannon or putting so much in defenses that damage feels like running around limp dicked.

Tailwind is really really strong and overpowered. Not only Tailwind on 10 stacks gives 150% Increased evasion, it also gives 10% Action Speed and Movement speed. With Deadeye, you also have Windward in which gives 3% damage reduction per Tailwind Stack, means it is 30% damage reduction for single hit. While you still need to keep Tailwind stack at max, there is no thinking needed to maintain it, because all you have to do is press a skill. So not only Deadeye is fast, she also have insane damage reduction if the evasion fail, with buff maintenance that requires no strategy at all.

I don't understand on why not only GGG didn't nerf Deadeye, she even buffed this league. She is the Golden Child of PoE.

I really don't think it's overpowered, it even got nerfed hard in the patch. Basically you get 2 shoted instead of 1 shoted and that can only happen once every 10-15sec.

Monsters without modifiers shouldnt physically hit over 1000, right how the base damage is so high that maps modifiers basically make them overpowered.

I think making tailwind a no-brainer is in error

An ascendancy passive that's strong both offensively and defensively is going to get taken by every single build for that class

But, relying on evasion as a defensive tactic is going to let the odd one-shot through and that's the equivalent of getting hemmed in and being hit by 10 shots in quick succession

Tell me, how should the game kill you?

POE is a mess in terms of how they handle monsters. POE1 too by the way.

Good design is when you enter the area, start fighting and realize if this is going be tough or not. But this is not the case with POE. You enter a map, everything is easy and then suddenly you die.

This is because they mix all kinds of mobs of various difficulty levels together, they attack in a swarm, you don't even see who is there and what it is doing. I'd say, this is an example of "Meaningless combat" (c)
