I am playing on PopOs 22.04
Was working finw all week end

Today I cannot use the mouse to click the login from the initial screen
Found out that it was because the mouse pointer is off

I can enter with the key board.

When in game I can confirm the mouse if off because I cannot move where I want
I can still use the chat esc to the option but cannot move to the other tabs of the option.

I have confirmed that I can play normally Last Epoch for example and some other non RPG game from Steam.

I have tried at least 3 different protons GE 9 27, experimental and no forcing from steam.

Same exact problem.

Do not remember a download for POE2 this morning.

Any idea? because I cannot play anymore

I have tried with and without my external screen
I can also play with the controller (but I normally only use it for my couch play characters)
just confirmed that I can play POE normally with the mouse.

So obviously something has changed in POE2 over the morning or late on sunday (Dublin times)

Ok I got it now.

The issue comes from the Windowed Fullscreen mode.

I have been playing on another external screen that has a different ratio.

So I suppose the game does not reset a config file when the change of monitor is detected (or the issue is that the change of monitor cannot be detected)

I cannot play fullscreen as it would stay on the laptop screen.

But reverting to fullscreen and then going back to windowed full screen has saved the day.
