Temper weapon is a cool idea.. but...

While I really do like the idea of Temper Weapon... and it can work somewhat, the problem with it becomes obvious when you are faced with swarms of enemies and especially those in waves.

As soon as you run out of stacks you find yourself in a position where, if you are using this as a build defining feature, you will inevitably find yourself in this awkward situation where you get swarmed and die attempting to temper your weapon again.

The problem comes, yet again, when you factor in the PoE1-like endgame which is all about huge packs of enemies... If this were not the case, the outcome would've been completely different.

As always, it all comes back to... what are you trying to do with the game in the end?

If you want it to work as is... the PoE1-like endgame needs to be reworked heavily... if you want it to work for the PoE1-like endgame... the skill itself needs a rework.

They could at least make it do rad aoe damage as you strike the anvil, and have it be more than 12 attacks.

It seems really stingy for a warrior Ascendancy skill.
originally it was only 4 attacks that got buffed for a fulll channel of the skill.

as it stands in its current state you still need to do it after every encounter.

it just feels bad, slowing smiths down for no reason.
