3d set of ascendancy points gone?

Hi,
I tried to go for the cruel first ascendancy. I reached the end and fought the boss. Unfortunately, I died at the last second and my minions finished the boss while I was dead. So I completed the quest, but couldn't go back in and reclaim the points at the altar. Is there any way to get these points back? You need to complete the trial again, go to the reward room after killing last boss and click on the ascendancy altar. For the 3rd Ascendancy you need Djinn Barya with 3 trials lvl 60+ or Ultimatum with 10 trials lvl 75+.
