Nah, he means the company that ran a perfectly functioning in game AH for years, in unarguably the highest rated over many many years, MMO of all time.

Ironically, if Tencent did take over the International / Western client version of Path of Exile 2, it would be way more fun than their current lack luster "Vision" they have, It's the blind leading the blind, that's their vision, right into Sheol.

They should at least add in "Revive Coins" like how the Chinese Client of the Game offers by Tencent.

Revive Coins – Allowing players to revive in place instead of having to restart maps, reducing frustration in tough encounters.

Revive coins: you may buy and spend these coins to revive in SC leagues to avoid XP loss up to level 95. The costs go up gradually, up to 4 coins per deaths at level 90+.

These coins are not very expensive and are often given as free gifts.

P.S. Their is a very good reason Chris and Hrishi left GGG and it would be wise to look into it not just the media cover story script...
Probably Tencent will add these "microtransaction coins"....I am more than sure.

We need a new Vision.
That is 100% because GGG is very obviously supplying the currency to RMT groups for a profit which in turn they sell to players for a profit.

There is a reason that 3 hours into a league players are able to purchase insanely rare currency from an RMT website.

You'd have to be crazy to think that behind the scenes they aren't choosing to profit off of the easiest and most consistent money-making option in this game.

A HUGE amount of people RMT and they don't ban it because they don't want to lose the money generated from it. It's literally child's play to track what accounts are moving vast amounts of currency and they turn a blind eye to it every single time.
